Haileys POV
Hi, I'm Hailey Rivers. I'm 17 years old. I work as a babysitter and I work as it because I LOVE kids and I need to earn some money. I have no family because my mom and dad died on a plane crash. I have a sister named Scarlet but she had to go to a foster home because I couldn't take care of her. But, I am planning to try and get her back once I turn 18. I usually go and visit Scarlet every now and then but I am always busy with work and school. Thank god I am in my last year of high school. I have a best friend named Riley. She is very popular but I am not. But, she isn't one of those girls who are all snobby and stuff and treat me like I'm just a piece of crap. She has a bright personality but dresses up like she is a one of those bad girls but she isn't bad.
So, I am walking to school with Riley and she is talking about some guy she met. To be honest with you guys, I don't believe in love. I don't think it exists. She is talking about the guy which I am barely even listening---
"HELLO! EARTH TO HAILEY!" Riley screams.
"Sorry! Geez, do you have to scream in my ear?"
"Yes but were you even listening to what I was saying?" Riley looks at me knowingly.
"Yea. You were talking about some guy, right?" I ask.
"Yea, so......" She keeps blabbering about the guy. She won't stop.
So, I am still walking with Riley and I feel like I just bumped into a rock. I look up and I see Blake Evans. The bad boy of the town and school . I'm kinda scared of him but he looks at me, smirks, and walks away. Ummmm, weird, but okay...
My phone starts to ring and I answer it...
"Hello?"
"Yes, is this Hailey Rivers?" The lady on the other line speaks.
"Yes. How may I help you?"
"Hi, I'm Marie Evans. Nice to meet you, um, I was wondering if you would be able to babysit my 5 year old daughter tonight at 7? I heard you are an amazing babysitter."
"Yes! I would love to babysit her! Um, how long will she be staying over?"
"She will be staying over for 3 hours. If that is ok with you of course?" Marie says.
"That's totally fine see you tonight at 7?"
"Yes of course! Thank you so much for this! And is 10 dollars an hour ok with you?"
"You're welcome and 10 dollars is fine"
"Ok. Talk to you later! Bye!"
"Bye"
