Blake's POV
*2 weeks later*
Today is the day I leave. Hailey kind of ignored me yesterday. She's probably very upset. I'm getting ready to leave and everyone is here. Except Hailey. I didn't think she would be this upset. I keep looking over to the stairs to see if Hailey will ever come down but she isn't.
"It's ok. She'll come soon." My mom says. I smile sadly and Scarlet and Neveah come over. Scarlet is like another sister to me. She even calls me her brother. Maybe that can happen for real...
"Hi bubby!" They both yell. I laugh and pick them up.
"I'll miss you." Scarlet says.
"I'll miss you too." Neveah says.
"I'll miss you both." I say to them. I put them down and hug them tight. I pull away after a few seconds.
"Will you cone back to sissy?" Scarlet asks.
"Of course I will. I'll come back to you too. I love you both very much. I will never leave you guys. And I want to ask if you could go get your sister for me? Just so I can say goodbye?" I say. She nods and runs upstairs. My friends come over to me.
"We'll miss you man." Jackson says. I give him a hug and everyone else a hug.
"Sissy. Come on! Blake wants to say goodbye." Scarlet whines. Scarlet drags Hailey by the arm down the stairs. Hailey looks at me sadly. I walk over to her and give her a hug.
"I'm gonna miss you so much. Just please be careful and come back." She says. I can tell she's crying by her tone. She's gonna make me cry.
"I promise you I will. I'll miss you too. Trust me. Now stop crying because you're gonna make me cry and I don't want to cry." I say. She stops herself from crying. I keep holding her in a hug. I don't want to let go but I have to eventually.
"What time do you leave?" She asks.
"5 minutes." I say. She holds me tighter and I do the same.
"I wish you didn't have to leave." She says.
"Me too baby girl. Me too." We stay there for the next few minutes hugging each other. I hear a car honk outside.
"Blake. It's the bus. It's time to go." My mom says. Everyone else looks at me.
"I love you so much Hailey. I'll be back soon." I say.
"I love you too." She says. We kiss and I pull away.
"Bye mom." I say. I kiss her on the cheek. I grab my luggage and head out the door. I walk over to the bus and get in. I grab a seat and sit down. I'll miss her.
"You leaving someone special?" A guy says.
"Yea. She's very special to me." I say.
"Are you in the academy? I'm asking because you look a little young to be in Army."
"Yea. I'm in the academy."
"You won't be gone that long. Only like 9 months. Almost a year but not fully. You'll be back to her in no time. Time will fly by quickly. And if you need me to help show you around you can come to my house at night. You'll have to come at night because I work during the day." He says. I look over to him and smile.
"Thank you."
"So, what's your wife's name?" He asks.
"She's not my wife. She's my girlfriend but her name is Hailey." I say.
"Well I can tell she means a lot to you. And you mean a lot to her. The time will go by fast and you'll see her in no time."
"Thank you."
"No problem."

So the next few or more chapters of this book won't have Blake and Hailey like next to each other and in person. They'll be letters writing to each other. It's easier when it's wrote down. Comment your thoughts!Vote and share!
