Hailey's POV
I am so glad Blake found us in time. Luckily my "father" didn't kill me or at least was close to killing me. But my body is covered in bruises and I'm hurting. It's been a week and I still hurt. Blake hasn't left my house unless it's to go get food and clothes for him. He hasn't gone to school except to get his work for the week and my work. He takes the kids to school and comes back with food. Right now he isn't here since he is taking the girls to school so, I can see if I can try and take a shower. I mean, I have a few cuts and I look ugly with all of these bruises.
I get in the shower and let the warm water run down my back. I wash my hair and my body and then get out. I grab a towel and put on my undergarments. Then, I put on some ripped skinny jeans and a purple long sleeve shirt. I can walk around but I walk with a limp. Blake is always cautious now. I don't know why he is being very overprotective. Heck he doesn't let anyone in without questioning them! Even his friends and Riley!
I hear the door open and Blake yells my name. I tell him I'm upstairs so he comes up the stairs.
"What are you doing? You're supposed to be resting!" He says.
He brings me over to the bed and sets me down. He brought food so we can eat and brought a movie.
"Why did you bring all of this stuff?" I ask him concerned.
"Just so you can feel comfortable and not think about the bad stuff that happened." He says sincerely. He really is a good friend.
"Ok. Come on. Put the movie in and come sit down." I say. He smiles and puts the movie in. He brings me to his lap and pulls me closer to his chest. We shift so we are laying down on our sides. His hand is around my waist while we are watching the movie.
Through the middle of the movie, I can feel Blake's breath evening out. Soon, I feel my eyes grow heavy and my world falls into a deep sleep. I fell asleep in Blake's arms.
