A/N: The song for this chapter is Human by Gabrielle Aplin, an absolutely amazing song that relates so much to the story. Don't forget to vote and comment (come on, it takes seconds to do that!) and thank you for reading Spark. I hope you enjoy reading this chapter as much as I did writing it. Oh, and also, just a quick question: is there anyone you picture as Autumn?
Waking up never felt so easy as it did the morning after our first time. I woke up in another bed. A different room. But in a bed I was starting to get use to since it was now becoming my own.
As I started opening my eyes to the clarity evolving me, my senses became sharper. I could sense the smell of scrambled eggs and fresh toast.
When I was finally capable of distinguishing forms I noticed Harry, sat on a chair in front of his bed, a tray on his lap and his eyes scanning my figure.
‘Good morning,’ he started and his husky voice made me smile immediately.
‘Were you watching me while I slept?’ I asked confused.
‘Would you call me a creep if I said so? You looked like an angel.’ He placed the tray on the side of the bed and hovered over me, planting a kiss on my forehead, followed by a long, beautiful kiss on my lips. I was still muttering the word ‘angel’ to myself.
He handed me the tray and watched me as I ate the breakfast he had woken up just to make. Occasionally, my toast would be stolen from me, whenever, on my way to taking a bite, he would quickly reach for it with his mouth, causing our lips to brush and accentuating my urge to kiss him.
‘We should stop by the dorms so you can get all your stuff,’ Harry said hastily. He was probably scared I would have changed my mind by then.
‘Don’t worry. I am still considering moving in,’ I assured him and he smiled. ‘But I should definitely leave this bed and take a shower,’ I continued, moving my hands to the sheets to remove them from my body, but stopping less than a second later, after making the shocking discovery that I was still naked. Harry seemed to notice my uncertainty.
‘You don’t need to be shy around me. There’s nothing in there I haven’t seen already. Although… maybe you should really cover yourself up in something because than the temptation to fuck you right away will be slightly less.’ I looked away a bit uncomfortable. It was taking me quite some time to get used to some of his mischievous remarks. Plus, I wasn’t a fan of swearing.
‘Here, have it,’ Harry encouraged, removing the white t-shirt he had on and flinging it to me. I almost dropped it as I was looking at his bare skin. It’s like he sparkled. I just couldn’t stop staring.
I finally put it on and left the bed. The t-shirt reached mid-thigh so, at least I was safe. Harry held my waist and pushed me to him so we could kiss. I could never grow tired of his touch, or his lips.
No sooner had I closed the bathroom door than a phone started ringing. Harry took a bit longer to answer but once he did I noticed traces of rage in his voice. I was tempted to eavesdrop.
‘I already told you I wouldn’t do that shit again,’ Harry said sharply but in a strong whisper. ‘Don’t even think about that!’ He struggled to maintain a homogenous tone, but I could sense even more rage in his voice.
‘Ok fine! I’ll be there in thirty,’ he retorted and then there was no other sound. I was bombarded with intrusive thoughts of whether I should open the door and ask him what was wrong or stay in my place. But I needed to know what was going on. I opened the bathroom door to find Harry by the door, ready to leave.
