The words he uttered were still so clear;
resonantly replaying, deafening her ears.
Entreating she'd just forget the nightmare
which provoked river and stream of tears.
Yesterday's memories are so hard to forget.
Her bruised heart is very tedious to set—
Still feeling the throbbing pain and hurt
caused by painful words which pierced her heart.
"I am so sorry but it is not you..."
those were the words his mouth threw—
Words like missile that made her blue,
words which may ruin her whole life through.
But before her life gets hurled in tribulation,
she did eventually come up to a realization.
Rejection is far better than false hope and expectation.
Now those words are the sweetest confession.
