Have you ever seen something so beautiful

that it made your eyes blinded and sore?

Have you ever tried gazing at one fair soul

but ended up crying by the pain it bore?

Dreams—it's the fallacy where I met the man;

Dreams—the deviation of where he'll always be mine

Yes, dreams and its illusory hope; is a savage artistry.

It painted a non-existent masterpiece of you and me.

Entwined hands are drifted apart; then your eyes cried

But your tears were burning so they easily dried.

Mine was drowning; my heart sang a melancholic lullaby

As the unspoken love we have whispered its goodbye.

A secret love, from someone who's already committed, is a forbidden one. While it's still fresh, be brave and leave. Bid goodbye. :)
