My place is a realm of beauty and color;

An abode for flowers of enchanting glamour.

Oh! There they are! The charming princesses!

The dainty blossoms-- the daffodils and the roses.

I want to join them as they dance with the wind.

Yet these friends of fineness won't let me in.

Hatred is their resort for what they have seen;

When those fair butterflies visit me in the garden.

Clueless of why they keep coming back everyday;

Sweetly showering praise and compliment to me.

As great as nothing, I am a flower so ordinary.

Unlike those others blessed with exquisite beauty.

Incapable of dancing as graceful as they do;

Forgotten by elegance, I have nothing to show;

A flower too dull, without symmetry and hue.

But why do these butterflies return to and fro?

The story of my life. Charot. :D
