Friend or fiend?

Yuzuki jumped from tree to tree as Hachi, Roko and Akashi followed.

"C-can we rest for some while..." Hachi panted as Yuzuki stopped. She sighed and jumped down from a tree.

"Sure." She threw a water bottle at Hachi and Roko as the duo rested. Akashi and Yuzuki sat under a tree.

"Ne Yuzuki-kun, how did you get so much stamina?" Hachi asked he poured some water into his mouth.

"Hm,....because of training?" Yuzuki answered as the wolf quietly took a nap.

Training?! Hachi and Roko was shocked. What kind of training did she use?! Yuzuki looked into the sky.

You must not come into contact with humans Yuzuki.

That sentence echoed in the girl's mind.

Why?

It was a question that was never answered.

"Let's go." Yuzuki stood up as Hachi and Roko looked at her.

"How about Akashi-kun?" Hachi asked.

"He can stay here." Yuzuki scribbled something on a piece of paper as she laid it beside Akashi. "Let's go." The girl immediately jumped onto the top on the tree and started jumping from tree to tree.

"C-chotto matte!"

Marry looked out of the window as she saw three familiar brunettes. A tall one, a medium tall one and a short one. One was laughing as the other two was arguing or something.

What did I come here for again?

And there she was, forgetting about what was her mission for coming here. Suddenly she heard voices.

"Shintaro, isn't it a while since we came here?"

"True Ayano..."

"Ayano-san! Shintaro-san! Seto-san!" Marry smiled as she waved her hand.

"Marry-kun!" Ayano ran over as Marry walked out, also hugging Ayano.

M and Shadow jumped onto the soft green grass.

"Somehow this place seems familiar..." Shadow whispered.

"What did you say Shadow-san?" M asked.

"Nothing." Shadow walked to a direction with M beside him. As they walked, the chirping of birds slowly faded as drops of rain started to fall from the sky.

"Oh...it's raining." M muttered as she spun her whip, whipping away the water. Suddenly, Shadow opened his umbrella and covered the duo, M's whip stopping.

"Now we need to-"

"Hey outsiders!" A voice suddenly shouted. M and Shadow looked to their right, finding Yuzuki with Hachi and Roko under her transparent umbrella.

"What are you two doing here?" Yuzuki asked as she pulled out her katana.

"Seriously...is she crazy?" M whispered to herself as Shadow glared at Yuzuki. The girl passed her umbrella to Hachi and Roko as she walked forward.

"I demand you two to go away!" Yuzuki's eyes glowed red. Shadow widened his eyes in realization.

Can't she be... Shadow thought as Yuzuki snapped him out of his thoughts when she swung her katana at Shadow.

"Shadow-kun!" M shouted as she swung her whip, swinging Yuzuki away as she dragged her feet to stop herself being pushed as she panted.

"Wow...looks like you didn't change after all M." Yuzuki sighed as she kept the katana back into it's sheath.

"What are you planning?" Shadow asked M quietly.

"I too don't know..." M answered as Shadow sweat dropped. Suddenly, M disappeared as Yuzuki was closer to her.

Suddenly...

"Yuzuki!" A voice shouted as it pushed Yuzuki aside. Yuthis looked back, finding M about to swing her whip and Akashi.

"Akashi!" Yuzuki pulled out her hand but too late.

Bang!

Fresh blood splattered on the green wet grass and Yuzuki's clothes and legs. Yuzuki widened her eyes as M landed on the grass. Akashi's grey body were stained by the blood coughed by himself. Yuzuki ran over to Akashi as she fell onto her knees.

"Akashi! Wake up!" Yuzuki shook the wolf as her eyes were starting to fill with tears. Hachi and Roko stood there as they were shocked.

(A/N Who isn't shock when a blow from a whip can cause a wolf to cough up blood?)

"Don't die! Please!" Yuzuki begged as the tears dropped from her green orbs. She wiped the tears as it suddenly stopped.

You also can't cry. Not even once in your life.

Yuzuki stood up with her head which hung low. M was getting ready, when suddenly she disappeared.

"Nani?!" Shadow asked as he felt a presence behind him. As he looked back, M was hit as she flew onto the other side, also being pushed with her legs dragged, creating a half-built dirt tunnel as Yuzuki just looked at them with red eyes.

"How does that feel?" Yuzuki asked before she disappeared again.

"Dang!" M cursed as she saw duplicates of Yuzuki around her, as she suddenly felt a presence.

"M!" Shadow shouted as he shot his Bloody Rain at Yuzuki, who suddenly disappeared and hit M by accident. He hurried to M's side, also pulling her hand over his shoulders. Yuzuki stopped as she next pulled out her katana, walking forward to the duo. Suddenly, a needle shot Yuzuki on the neck as she fell onto the grass. Suddenly a call rang in Shadow's earpiece.

"Shadow, remember what you're here for." Professor Clover's voice reminded Shadow.

"Fine professor." Shadow hung up as he nodded at a tree, where another figure stood there as it nodded.

"Let's go M." Shadow said when suddenly something pulled M's leg. M looked down, finding Yuzuki plucking out a needle as she held M's leg.

"You're not going anywhere nyan."

Shintaro was kissing his can of coke. Again.

"Please Shintaro, stop kissing the can of coke." Bold Ayakashi, a friend of theirs, sweat dropped as Marry sipped her tea.

"Aww why not? I didn't manage to drink even one can yesterday and I was going to die." Shintaro opened the can of coke. Suddenly, Marry dropped her cup of tea as she fell onto the table.

"Marry!" Ayano flipped Marry around, looking that she was unconscious. Suddenly the house was starting to turn black bit by bit as there were evil laughter echoing. Bold looked behind her, finding a black figure.

He smiled.

"Miss me?" He asked as he took some steps forward. Shintaro cursed under his breath as Ayano frowned.

"Why are you here

Kuroha?"
