Hang Out

The next day I awoke to her eating the last 3 brownies in the freezer and she smiled at me.

Alyssa: Good morning!

Amanda: Guten Morgen!

Alyssa: Hey I didn't take German!

Amanda: That's your fault.

Sticking my tongue out at her I decided to go to the store and get more brownie mix. Actually two things of brownie mix cause Alyssa will eat a whole thing to herself. Grabbing the keys I drove to the store got some more brownie mix and fruit also some candy. Walking out I drove back home unloaded everything, put the brownies in the oven and took a shower. After I was clean Alyssa made me a blue and black berry smoothie with some strawberries, just the way I like it. Then she called the boys and told them to come to our house so we could eat breakfast together.

Getting everything together I made a dozen pancakes, some eggs, a lot if bacon, slice some fruit with it, put the whip cream and syrup out. I even made some chocolate chip pancakes. Making the table with 4 plates a knock was at the door and Alyssa ran to get it and I could hear them talking. I put everything else out on the table and made some more fresh squeezed orange juice for everyone.

Finn: Wooh! You did this all by yourself?

Amazement covered his perfect face and he smiled big at me then hugged me, he looked at the table again astonished I found do something like that.

Amanda: I do this every morning.

Finn: You should cook at my house every morning then.

Jack walked in with Alyssa and she ran for the chair she always sat at, right across from me at the end of the table. Jack looked amazed as well and he sat left of Alyssa and Finn sat right of Alyssa. The table can only sit 4 people so we all had our own sides, I asked what they wanted to drink.

Amanda: So what do you guys want to drink?

Finn: I'll take some of that orange juice please.

Jack: I'll have what you are drinking!

I got up got Finn his orange juice and then made two more smoothies for me and Jack. Everyone was filling their plates and I got some chocolate chip pancakes with whip cream on top, maple syrup, chocolate syrup, fruit I the side by my bacon and eggs. Everyone took their first bite and Alyssa's face grew with enjoyment like always. Jack and Finn both dropped their forks and I thought they didn't like it until they both just stared at me and smiled really big and attack with me with hugs.

Jack: Please cook for us more?

Finn: Pretty please? This is the best food I have ever tried!

Jack and Finn: I LOVE YOUR COOKING!

I just started to laugh and Alyssa kept eating.

Amanda: Don't worry I'll cook more for you two.

Alyssa: She cooks every day!

Amanda: Yeah I do now come on eat up but don't forget I have fresh brownies ready if you want to eat that after this.

Alyssa: YOU MADE MORE BROWNIES?!

Jack: Is she a good baker as well?!

Finn: Is there something you're not good at?

Amanda: I can't draw.

Alyssa: Yes you can! Better than me at least.

Amanda: I'll show you what I mean later.

We all ate up and after everything was gone I put all the dishes in the sink and gave them the fresh brownies. Walking back to the kitchen Finn pulled up his sleeves and helped me with the dishes.
