Looking down I feel small arms wrap around my legs. I look down to see my 5 year old twin daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret. They both look up at me with their Brown eyes and blonde hair. Meeting them for the first time you would not be able to tell them apart. They only difference between them are their personalities and the ways they dress. Elizabeth prefers to wear shirts and jeans while her sister, Margaret, likes to wear dresses, skirts, and the color pink. The only time they wear the same thing is when they wear their pajamas.

"Hey babies. I missed you." Leaning down I kissed each of them on their forehead.

"I missed you more mommy," Elizabeth screamed.

"No I missed mommy more," Margaret yelled at her sister.

"Girls stop fighting."

"Sorry mommy," they both said together

After breaking up the girls I look up to see David's mom, Michelle, smiling at me. Since the problem with my parents she and Michael have been there for me. It's been easier having them around to help with everything. Considering what happened between me and my parents when I got pregnant I didn't have anyone to help me through it. They would bring me food and take me to my appointments. Just thinking about all that they have done for me brings tears to my eyes.

"Did everything go good today?" She said packing up her things. Whenever she watches the girls she always brings toys and books for them.

"Yes."

"So I guess what Michael called and told me was not important." I turned away from her and headed to the kitchen.

"If it has to do with Lucas then, no, it's not important." I reached into the refrigerator to grab me a bottle of water.

"So the handsome stranger has a name," she says smirking at me from the kitchen table.

Thinking about what I said I try to keep myself busy so that she will drop the subject. I know that this whole thing about Lucas is exciting for her. She couldn't have any kids after David and she always wanted a daughter. Looking over at her I saw hope in her eyes. I talk to her about everything else that happens in my life so why is this so hard. It's the first time that I would be admitting to her that I am interested in someone.

I sit down across from her playing with my water bottle. The only sounds that can be heard are the girls playing in the living. After the long silence I finally decided to tell her everything. She sat their looking at me with a huge smile on her face. I start by telling her about running into him on the way to work, to him coming to the dinner, and ending with him bringing me home. Afterwards she looked like she was about to burst with excitement. I could tell she was trying to hold it in and she was just waiting for me to give her permission to speak.

"Go ahead."

"Oh my goodness, it sounds like fate," she smiled.

"If fate had planned for me to practically run him over on the sidewalk twice then fate could have planned this better," I sighed as I decided I needed something stronger to handle this conversation. I head over to the cabinet to check to see if I have anything.

"Top cabinet above the microwave," I looked back and Michelle was standing behind me holding two wine glasses.

Shrugging my shoulders I look in the cabinet she told me and pull out both bottles of red wine. I set it on the table and tell her that we'll finish our talk after I put the girls to sleep. Walking into the living room and check on the girls. They're sitting on the couch watching my little pony singing along to one of the songs.
