Misty's P.O.V

My head is spinning like crazy.

I manage to push myself up into a kneeling position, forcing my eyes to open. When my vision clears, I notice that two boys are above me, one dressed in green, the other in red and they're looking right at me.

"Ahh! Who are you?" I ask, keeping an eye on both of them as I scatter back.

I notice that both boys are very cute, them quickly scold myself for thinking that. For all I know, these guys could be serial killers.

"Do we look that scary?" one of them asks, looking partially bored. He has brown hair that seems to shimmer copper in the sunlight. His eyes are hazel, dangerously flickering with red, reminding me of a flame.

"No, I just um..." I don't know what to say and I can feel a blush creeping onto my cheeks.

"It's ok. I'm Brenton and this is Dawn," he gestures to the boy next to him.

My eyes flicker over to Dawn. He has blond hair that looked as if he had ran his fingers through it a few times. Why are they both so attractive?

I look down at my arm, which was still bleeding.

"Here," Brenton says, pulling the scarf he was wearing off of his neck.

He walks up to me and smiles slightly, placing the thin red material around my bleeding arm.

"That should help," he says looking down at me.

"If you don't mind me asking, why did those hooded men run away from you so fast?" I ask looking up at Brenton who just looks away.

"Believe me, I would tell you but Brenton here would kill me," Dawn says, smirking at me.

"Anyway were do you live, we can make sure you make it home safety," Brenton says looking at me.

"I don't have a home," I say bluntly, "I live in the side streets of the Republic City."

"You can stay with us, right Brenton?" Dawn says, giving his friend a nudge.

"No way!" Brenton says, giving Dawn a punch in his shoulder.

"But her arm needs to heal! Look at her, do you think she knows how to treat wounds? What about the many infections out there," Dawn says, trying to sound smart.

"Only for one night," Brenton sighs.

"Thanks!" I exclaim, claiming my hands together.

I follow them as the lead me into forest. My stomach filling my mind with thoughts of real food.
