Jungkook, Suga - Make you mine

It was already 9:00 pm.  supposedly, you and Jungkook planned to meet here at 8:00 pm for your date. Time was ticking by slowly and you had no patience but it was our date so of course, you waited. You knew deep down, he wouldn't be coming, but you still waited for him.

Another 20 minutes went by certainly slow, and you were losing your patience. You sigh, " it's already 9:20 pm and he isn't here yet..." You say to yourself. Maybe this was his way of saying no. 10 minutes went by, and your thinking if he had forgotten about the date even thought he had promised you. He told you before that he had no plans, no meetings, no schedule, no nothing. He was completely free. 

But, your not here with him. Your here by yourself, and You can't help but feel betrayed. You knew clearly that he felt the same way you did towards him. But why isn't he showing up? Where had you gone wrong? Did you say something to him without knowing? no, you were certain that you've done nothing wrong, that you know of to make him upset and not show up. 

So where was he?

You were supposed to meet him at 8:00 pm and it's already 9:35 pm, but you promised yourself that you would wait 5 more minutes and if he doesn't come, your love for him would be over. But you didn't let that bother you. It seems unfair, how you were doing all the work in this relationship and how he got all the love from you but he gave nothing in return. 

It could've been fine if he told you he couldn't make it by giving you a text or a call and you would've been fine with it but feeling disappointed afterwards, but he never gave you a call or a text, which made you much more upset.

Now, you've waited for him for about 40 minutes and he still hasn't shown up. You were starting to tear up but held it back in. "Of course. He wouldn't show up." You said to yourself. 

"I promise Y/N, next time." Jungkook said softly. Touching your hair. "It better be the last time." You tell him, and you sigh. He sticks out his pinky and says "I pinky promise." You look directly into his eyes and he gives you a cheeky smile. You put your pinky out and hooked it onto his. "I know how important this date is to you" He said. He then grabbed you and hugged you wrapping his arms around you so that your right cheek was resting on his chest. 

He had promised you, and he broke that promise. You felt like you've lost it all. Did he really like you? Did he know how you really felt towards him? Was he just acting and playing along? Thinking about it was scary. You really liked him and all he did was bail on you. 

Did he even care?

It's 9:50 pm and your still sitting there. You weren't waiting for him anymore since you told your that your love for him would be over if he didn't show up. And he didn't. You started to cry, tears were falling down your face and your eyes started to swell. Sooner, the clouds began to crackle and clap. Water droplets started to fall and you were soaking wet from the rain that has been pouring. You knew you should've taken cover and ran, but you didn't care. You didn't care about you getting wet, because of how you felt. Betrayed. You heard someone run up to you and footsteps splashing in the small puddles the rain made but you thought it was your imagination. So you ignored it.

Suddenly, the rain stopped. 

You look up to see a black umbrella with white polka dots above you. You quickly turn around thinking it was Jungkook. But it wasn't. It was Yoongi. You felt slightly disappointed.

"Y/N, what are you doing out here?" He sounded breathless ,he was running towards you which made him tired and out of breath. He was completely soaked. He felt a chill go down his spine and his cheeks were bright pink due to the cold freezing wind and the mixture of rain and thunder. "Y/N, your going to get cold out here." You didn't respond or move an inch which scared him a little. "Y/N?" He said, but in a more quiet and calm tone.  He took off his warm jacket and put it over you to keep you warm leaving him in short sleeves. He gently held one of your arm, putting it up and sliding it through the arm hole, still managing to hold the umbrella up to protect you from the harsh rain and wind mixture. you then finally look at him in the eyes. 

He wasn't doing this just to be polite, but he had feelings for you and you've always wondered why. He then sat in front of you sighing, knowing that you wouldn't move or go anywhere. Yoongi noticed your puffy and swollen eyes due to the fact that you were crying.

 "Yoongi, why do you do these things for me?" You asked him bluntly. He was surprised and gave you a quick answer."because i like you Y/N. I like you, a lot." He replied. His face was tinted pink because he thought it was embarrassing, and looked away shyly. You already knew about his affection for you. "Y/N, you already know that." he said. "But why do you? what do you like about me?" you asked him while tugging on to the jacket he put over you. 

"I like the things that make up you Y/N" He said while looking at you. "I like every small and big thing that make up you. Your smile, your cute laugh, you small and adorable dimples, the way you let your hair down when it's tied up. I like you for you." He said. 

"But i'm not like Jungkook, I can be better than him and I can treat you better than he can."  He continued. "Jungkook expects too many things from you that isn't you, how you normally are. But i'm different from him. He doesn't know you long enough. Not enough to love you the way I love you."

"Yoongi, I'm s-"

He cut you off before you could say anything. "I know what your going to say, but please, just give me a chance. please, Y/N." The thing was, you didn't think of him in that way, you just liked him at your best friend. you didn't know how to respond. "I know how you feel towards him Y/N, the way you look at him, the way he makes you smile. But I deserve a chance too Y/N. Your enough for me. I don't expect anything else from you. I won't leave you out in the cold on our dates and forget to give you a text or a call if something else comes up. And this date would've been amazing and perfect. But I  promise, just please, give me a real chance, not one of those one-sided love." You couldn't say anything about that because he was right, Jungkook never gave you a call or a text saying that he couldn't come. He's probably out with his friends and had forgotten about the date you two had originally planned.

You were already tired from waiting for him for 40 minutes. You yawned. you then looked up into the dark night sky and saw many stars and constellations. You wanted to tell and explain them all to Suga. "You see that?" You pointed up at one of the constellations. "That's called, The Canis Major. It stands for Great Dog in Latin."  "really?" He said. He noticed that you changed the topic fairly quickly but, he didn't mind. He liked it when you talked about the stars and constellations and hearing your voice. "How about this one?" Yoongi asked while pointing at another constellation right beside the one you just finished talking about. "That one? That's the Canis Minor. It's like the other canis but smaller." You said while slowly smiling as the familiar names came back into your mind.  "And that's Mars, the hottest planet in the solar system."

"As hot as me?" He joked while smiling widely. 

"I doubt it." Lightly joking back. 

Suga looked up at the dark night sky again, the rain started to drizzle instead of falling hard onto the ground.  "How about that one?"  He pointed at another constellation.

"Ah, now that one-"  You both spent the rest of the night talking about the night sky.

Before, it was just you two talking about the stars in the night sky but it wasn't. It turned out to be something more than that. You pretend to not noticed; the way he casually slid his hand over yours and would lean in closer to your face to whisper things to you. You didn't feel uncomfortable, but instead, it felt right.

Yoongi didn't give you those nervous butterflies in your stomach that you felt when you were with Jungkook. He didn't give you shivers when he moved closer to you, nor did he make your heart skip when, at the end of the date, he'd look deeply into your eyes before stealing a kiss. 

he was not like Jungkook.

yet, he would never be able to replace Jungkook any time soon.

So, him trying, was just a waste of time but, there was no harm in letting him try. 

The only thing that ran across your mind was how comfortable you felt around him, it didn't feel awkward or strange but instead, it felt right being here with him with his hands over yours as he kept asking about the constellations above. He would make jokes now and then but, it felt right. He kept asking about the stars above to cover up his loud thundering heartbeats with his voice and would think about ways to make you his as you speak.
