Jungkook - Shy Shy Shy

It was a Monday morning and woke up at 8:00 am due to my alarm ringing, telling me to wake up and that it was time for me to head to school. I got up to the bathroom to do my daily things I usually do once I wake up. I then got out, headed to my closet to find an outfit to wear for the day. While I was picking, my mother called me downstairs for breakfast.

"Y/N! Breakfast is ready!" My mother yelled. "Okay! I'll be right there mom!" I yelled back while still choosing what to wear. I finally gave up and slapped on a sweater and a pair of jeans. Usually, the school bell goes off around 9:00 and I had enough time to get ready and do my daily things.

I head downstairs to the kitchen, noticing my mom putting down a plate full of food with a glass of juice to go along with it. She saw me standing there and told me to come and eat. I sat down and started munching on my food, thanking her for the food afterwards. It was 8:23 and I still had a lot of time left. So I went back upstairs, back to my bedroom. I then took my phone and scrolled through some of my social medias. And of course, no notification like usual. I wasn't popular in my school anyways so I'd be shock if I actually got a message. I've been scrolling for around 5 minutes now and it was getting boring so I decided I was going to go to school earlier. Something that I rarely do. I put my phone in my pocket, grabbed my bag and headed downstairs. "Mom, I'm going now." I told my mother. He was slightly confused as to why you'd want to go to school that early. "Is there something you have to do at school today Y/N?" She asked me. "No mom. I just feel like heading out now." I said as i was putting on my shoes and was ready to head out. She nodded and said goodbye. 

I didn't live close to the school nor far, but it was decent. I had one earbud in my ear and the other one out just in case.

Once I reached the inside of the school's building, I headed to my locker, unpacked and took out the binders and papers I needed for my class. Just when I was about to leave the locker's area, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"O-oh, I'm sorry." He said while picking up some papers he had dropped.

"No, it' s fine. Don't worry." I said while bending down to pick the rest up for him before handing it back. I took at peak at the name section and notice the name 'Jungkook' written on it. 

"Jungkook, right?" I asked him.

"H-how's you know?" He asked me confusingly.

"Papers" I told him while smiling. 

"O-oh, yeah.." He said quietly due to embarrassment.

"w-well, I should go now.. Thanks for helping me and sorry again" He said one last time before bowing and then taking off. I didn't even get the chance to say Goodbye. I noticed something about him though. He was stuttering a lot. A few minutes later, the bell rang. It was time for us to get to our classes. I was heading to my class but when I got in, I noticed a familiar face in the classroom. It was that guy! what was his name again?.... Jung.... Jungkook! It was funny how I didn't notice him before. Maybe he's the one who's shy? That no one really notices? I sighed and sat in my assigned seating and got out my binders and papers. The teacher came in and greeted us all.

"Class! There will be a test on Friday! Study hard! Fighting!" She said while making a fist with her hand signaling us that we can do it. No stress? Of course there's going to be stress! Test's aren't my thing, I usually get nervous when writing test's and basically forget everything I've studied for.

Great.

A few hours later, the class was dismissed and I was heading to my locker to put away my stuff. Just when Jungkook was passing by. "Hey! Jungkook!" I yelled out to him. It was loud enough for him to hear me but not the people around him. He looks around to see who was calling and his eyes landed on me. He looked nervous. He didn't look like he wanted to come towards me but, he did. He took small footsteps, slowly coming towards me. I was slightly confused as to why he was doing that but, I didn't mind. "Hello" I said while waving my hand a little. "H-hi.." Jungkook said while trying to wave back but couldn't. I noticed his hand wanting to move up to wave but it wouldn't budge. I tilted my head sideways slightly at confusion. "So, uhmm.. That test that we... uh.. have.." I said. I could feel the awkward aura between us. "Y-yeah.." He said while nodding a little, sill being able to notice it. "Umm.. Do you... want to... I guess, study with me...?" I asked him awkwardly. I really didn't know why I called him in the first place and the only thing I could come up with was the test. "U-umm... I-i'm sorry.. But, I can't t-today.." He said why lowering his head, hiding the fact that he was turning red since he basically jut rejected my request. "O-oh.. it's fine." I said brushing off the 'Rejection' like dust. He then bowed and walked away holding the books and papers in his hand.

Few days have past and it was time for us to do the test. I have studied the night before and the night before that as well but, I wasn't so sure if I was ready yet. 

"Handing it in, in 30 minutes" 

30 minutes?! Geez... 

As soon as I got the paper, I took one good look at it before reading the questions and answering them. A few minutes have passed and I didn't even circle one answer yet. That was how un-prepared I was. I then gave up staring at my sheet and actually write something down. I held the pencil tightly on my hands before putting the led onto the paper and moving it, creating a  circle around the answer I thought was correct. It took me about 20 minutes to complete the whole sheet before going back to recheck it. I nodded in satisfaction. I got up, headed towards the teachers desk, handing in the answered sheet. Just when I was going to the desk, I accidentally bumped into another student.

"O-oh, sorry" I said while brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. I didn't have the chance to look up and see who it was since I was already stressed about the test so all I did was apologize and went back to my arranged seat. I sat there looking at the ceiling, lost in space, not know what to do and what I was thinking of. "Geez... when is this period going to end?... It's been so long...!" I said to myself. While i was 'daydreaming', a student was about to hand in her sheet but accidentally knocked down my pencil off of my desk. I heard a small tap on the ground and that snapped me back to reality. I notice the pencil on the ground and picked it up like nothing happened. While I was reaching for the pencil, I saw another pair oh hands reaching towards the same pencil i was going for. Accidentally, our hands met and I looked up to see who it could've been.

It was Jungkook. I was a little shocked at first but I moved my hands back so he would be able to pick them up. He handed it back to me and I thanked him. My cheeks were obviously getting a little pink since that was a little embarrassing. the bell then suddenly rang and it was time for classes to be dismissed. I got off of my seat, grabbed my books, binders, papers and headed out the door. Just when i was about to leave, I saw Jungkook right at the door step and I grabbed him by the wrist. He was a little shocked to whom it could've been but he turned around and looked at me.

"H-hey, I want to talk to you.." I asked him. "W-why me?" He said in reply. "Well, because you seem like a gentle person and your very quiet. It's sort of cute." I said. "O-oh, T-thanks.." He said while blushing slightly due to that compliment.

"Why are you so shy and quiet?" I asked him bluntly. "W-well... No one really talks to me often so.. there's really no point in talking..." He said, answering me question.

"Well, wanna try to open up more?" I ask him with a huge smile planted across my face. He smiled back. I gave him a hand and looked at him while nodding once, signaling him to go on. He soon then put his hand on top of mines and holding it tightly.
