Some Where We Belong (Captain America Love Story)

Part 5

It's been a month since me and Lucas failed our mission. We've been on four missions since and completed them all.

I was glad how well we turned things around. Though I know in Markon's eyes we were never doing enough.

Just then I got a text message. I look to see it was from Megan 'You're both needed now meet by the training room'.

"Lucas" I said to my brother. "What is it" he asked. "We've got to go to the training room now" I said.

"Do we have to" he asked. "Yes Megan messaged me" I told him. He groaned. "Fine" he said annoyed.

We go to the training room to see Megan. "Hi Megzy" I said. "We've got a meeting with Markon" she said.

"Wait the three of us have a meeting" Lucas asked. "Yes I don't know what it is though" she replied honestly. "We better get there" I said.

We went to Markon's office and knock on the door. "Come in" he said. I opened the door and the three of us walk in.

"Close the door" Markon said. Lucas closed the door and we go over to Markon desk. He smiled his fake smile.

"Please take a seat" he said. We take a seat. "Now you're probably wondering why I've called all three of you" he said.

"It has crossed our mind" Lucas said gaining a glare from me. "No it's fine he's just curious that's all, not that I blame him" Markon said.

"What do we owe the pleasure sir" I asked. "I have decided to send you three on a very dangerous mission" he said.

"So what is this mission then" Lucas asked impatiently. I glare at him again making Markon laugh. I was worried for my brother's safety.

"You three will kill Captain America" Markon said. My eyes went wide. I looked at Megan who's eyes were the same.

"Is that even possible" I asked. "It is possible, but it will be difficult. I know you three are the most powerful agents I have" he said.

"Well I don't mind a challenge" Lucas said smirking. "You will be leaving tomorrow. You will be dropped off by another agent then you have to make your own way" Markon said.

"Yes sir" Me and Megan said. "This there anything else sir" I asked. "Yes, I need a word with you alone Nellieton" he said.

Lucas looked at me. I mouthed 'I'll be ok'. "Thank you sir" Megan said. "Goodbye" Lucas replied as he and Megan left.

"I want you to know if you fail the mission you, Megan and Lucas will be killed. So don't fail" Markon said. "Of course not sir" I said.

He came over to me and put his mouth next to my ear. "I would hate to waste a perfectly fine agent" he whispered.

I didn't know how to reply. "Now leave. Don't come back until the mission is completed" he said. "Yes sir, good bye sir" I replied as I leave.

Megan and Lucas were outside the room. "What did he want" Lucas asked. "He was just informing how powerful Captain America is" I lied.

I didn't want them to know the pressure that was on us. Lucas doesn't work well under pressure either does Megan.

All I know is we couldn't fail this mission. I didn't want to be the reason my best friend and brother die.
