Part 29

Nellieton P.O.V

My head was spinning as my eyes flutter open. I looked around and saw I was chained to a chair. I didn't even know where I was.

"I'm glad to see you're awake" a voice said. That was when I noticed as I was in the old room where I used to get tortured.

My eyes went wide. How did they manage to get me? I thought Captain was there. Captain where was he?

Markon laughed. "I know what you're thinking. Where is your beloved Steve Rogers, Captain America, he's here" he said.

"Where is he" I snapped. "He's safe, don't worry about that" he said. "Take me to him or I swear I'll kill you" I snapped.

He laughed again. "I'm not afraid of you, why would I be? I'm advanced myself now. I have strength like your beloved one" he said.

I try use my powers but I get burnt. Of course they'd use my weakness against me. I was screwed and I couldn't do anything about it.

"Now I have proposition for you" he said. I was interested. "I will let Captain America go if.." he didn't finish.

"If what" I asked. "If you join me" he said. "No" I replied. "Let me rephrase that so you understand" he said. "Go on" I said.

"I will kill Captain America if you don't join me. I will kill him painfully and make you watch, then I will track down your friends and kill them" he said.

My eyes went wide. "Not only will I kill them I will make you watch them die. Then I will kill you slowly" he said.

A tear fell down my face. "Ok" I said quietly. "Good" he said. "I want one thing before I join you" I said. "What is it" he asked. "I want to see and talk to him one more time" I said.

He pressed a button and Captain came up from the ground, chained up. "Let me go" I said. Markon broke the chains from me.

I run over to Captain. "You're ok" I told him. "Don't do it. Whatever he says don't do it" he told me.

"I have to. I can't let you die" I said tears rolling down my face. I hug him. "Red box in my top drawer, open it" I whispered in his ear.

He looked at me. I pressed my lips against his. "I love you so much" I said to him. He had tears running down his face.

"I will get you out of here" he said. "No they will kill you. I can't have you dead. I love you too much" I said the tears falling out of my eyes.

"That's enough" Markon said as he dragged me away. "Nelly no" Captain said as he tries to break the chains but he couldn't.

"I love you" I said before I'm dragged away. I didn't want to end things like this but I had no choice.

I've lost the love of my life. I would probably never see my best friends or my brother, my poor brother ever again.
