Shawn 's point of view

She sat right in front of me in English and she had the most beautiful blonde hair, falling in soft locks down her back, she was only a friend, I reminded myself before continuing on the essay, she turned around to face me.

"Hey Shaw can borrow a pencil?" Her adorable smile flashed and I handed her a blue mechanical pencil, her favourite colour.

My best friend turned to me and batted his eyelashes "oh, Shaw can I borrow a pencil?" He squeaked. I punched him in the shoulder and went to her locker. "See you later Joseph!" I called but he left.

"Hello California. Can I ask you something?" I leaned against the lockers as she got into hers.

"If it includes how you came up with that nickname, then I don't have an answer Shaw." She flashed her grin.

"I, I was wondering if you were doing anything tonight. I wanted to go to the movies, Moana just came out." I stuttered. "We don't have to see that if you don't..." she cut me off.

"Sounds great, is seven okay for you." Her smile shone brighter and her eyes sparkled.

"Yeah, I will come pick you up."

And that's how we started, we had been going so strong for ten months when I went to Joseph's house...
