Logan and Selena managed to sneak their way out of the studio without being caught by Logan's publicist, who was surely going to give him a lecture when she finds out he left without giving her a heads up. But as he drove to the diner with Selena sitting in the seat beside him, all his worries seemed to float away. With one hand resting comfortably on the wheel, he glanced at the brunette sitting in the passangers seat of his car. He simply couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that she was only a few inches apart from him and that she had agreed to spend time with him.

His palms began to sweat as he realized he would actually have to talk to her when they arrived at the diner. How the hell was he supposed to accomplish that if he had difficulty looking in her in the eye? As they drew closer to the diner, Logan began to grow more nervous by the second, cursing himself for being such an idiot.

This can't possibly go well.

-------------------------

As she sits patiently in the car, Selena tries to control the rapid pace of her heart and the butterflies fluttering in her stomach. She never imagined Logan would have this kind of effect on her and she wasn't sure whether that was a good thing or the opposite. Ever since she saw the first installment of the Percy Jackson series, she's always considered him as the cute guy with ridiculously beautiful blue eyes but has never imagined herself to actually think of him as more than that. But she couldn't deny how amazing it felt to have his arms wrapped around her.

For that specific reason is why she never teared her eyes away from the window. Having him so close to her was already affecting her greatly, she couldn't imagine what would happen to her if she locked eyes on his features.

She had no idea where he was taking, but considering how he had said the diner was close to Ellen's studio, she predicted that they shouldn't be too far away.

--------------------------

The entire ride to the driver was made in silence, something Logan appreciated. Mainly because he had no idea what to say to her. However, as he pulled up to the driver and found and empty parking space, he knew he would have to actually talk to her. He took out the keys from the ignition and stuffed it into his front pocket before exiting the car just in time to make his way to the passengers side to open the door for Selena.

It was strange how her presence caused him to forget how stressed he has been these last couple of weeks. It was interview after interview and only rewarded 4 maybe 5 hours of sleep. Seeing her smile when he opened the door for he caused all his worries and stress to wash away.

Logan closed the door after she had gotten out of the car and led her into the small diner. He had stumbled upon the diner the last time he was on Ellen after his publicist had told him he had the rest of the day off. The diner offered him the privacy he so greatly craved after being constantly followed by the paparazzi. Nobody would ever expect for a celebrity to be seen in a place like this.

"I know it doesn't look like much, but the food is excellent- trust me." He said as he opened the door, allowing her to step into the diner.

--------------------------

Selena couldn't help but smile as she watched him jog to the her side of the car and open the door for her- something Justin never seemed to bother to do. When their relationship finally ended, she realized that he never did the small things that make a great boyfriend. Justin never sent her flowers for no reason but to show her how much he loved her. He never noticed when she was acting strange, and if he did he didn't care. But for some reason, she still stuck around. She forced herself to be strong when she recieved hundreds of death threats from his fans, simply because she was dating their idol.

She glanced up at him when she heard his voice and a smiled instantly tugged on her lips. "I trust you." She replied before stepping inside but not before whispering "thank you" to Logan.

Selena's eyes roamed the diner, her eyebrows furrowed as she wondered how Logan ever came upon the place. It didn't look like the kind of place a celebrity like himself would ever step foot inside. One of the perks of being a celebrity is that you get to experience the best life has to offer; and that includes 5 star restaurants.

"How did you find this place?" She asked once he was standing beside her.

--------------------------

When he noticed the look on her face as she looked around the diner, he instantly knew what she was thinking. Truth is, Logan hasn't quite gotten used to being a celebrity. He still has no problem eating a diner that nobody knows about. He doesn't think less of Selena for finding it weird to be standing in a place like this, knowing her life consist of staying in the best hotels and practically having the world at her fingertip.

"I had a day off and I just didn't feel like staying home." He finally replied, walking towards the table he usually sits whenever he stops by the diner. "I guess I just wanted to sit down and remember what it was like when I could just simply sit down and have a nice lunch without strangers taking pictures of me." He glances at her from the corner of his eye and smiles slightly before taking a seat. "I still haven't gotten used to it, to be honest with you. I don't think I'll ever get used to it." He rests his elbows on the table as the waitress approaches them. She greets Logan, recognizing him from his previous visits to the establishment.

She places a menu in front of him and does the same with Selena. "I've pretty much tried everything on the menu, and I gurantee that it all tastes amazing. Order whatever you want, it's on me." He flashed her a smile before looking down at the menu.

--------------------------

She followed him, listening intently to what he was saying and she couldn't agree more with what he was saying. The last couple of years have been crazy for Selena and even though she was grateful for the the opportunities she has been giving, she would give everything to just be able to walk down the street and not be blinded by the flash of the cameras.

Selena takes the seat in front of him, and gives him a smile. "I've made peace with it a long time ago, though I get what you mean- it can all get a little overwhelming sometimes." She replied. Selena watches as the waitress greets Logan and she can't help but feel something strange in the pit of her stomach. She brushes it off when Logan began to speak.

When Logan smiled at her, she looked down at the menu instantly trying her best to hide the blush that had overtaken her cheeks. If that was the way she reacts when he smiles at her, she has a problem.

--------------------------

Once they had given the waitress their order, Logan rested his elbows once again on the table and leaned forward. For some strange reason, he didn't feel nervous like he had expected. Instead, he felt relaxed in her presence. "So, I'm your celebrity crush, huh?.
