Destination Us (Lolena)

Chapter 6

As expected, the media went crazy over Logan and Selena's meeting. "Lolena" was the number one trending topic on twitter for 2 hours after their interview had aired. Logan was instantly bombered with texts and phone calls from his friends, freaking out over the fact that he had physical contact with Selena Gomez. Fortunately, there was no mention of what they had done after the interview. He recieved a very angry voicemail from his publicist, making it very clear how dissapointed she was in him for leaving the studio without giving her a heads up. After an hour apologizing, she finally caved in and forgave him for his "reckless" actions. 

Ever since that afternoon, Logan and Selena kept in contact- talking whenever they both had a time to send a text to each other. Though they have not actually talked face to face since they were at the diner, skyping was the only option. The pair talked about whatever what popped into their minds, also often talking about their day and future endeavors. Their conversations flowed easily, never having awkward silences. Logan wouldn't deny the fact that he was missing the brunette a bit more than he should. It just has been so long since he's talked to someone who understood what he was going through and he never wanted that stop. 

Last night whilst they were texting each other- something has become a daily occurrence, they discussed their schedules only to realize that they both would be L.A at the same time. The discovery caused a grin to appear on their features. They spent the entire night confessing how excited they were to finally see each other and planning what they would do once they saw each other. They agreed on having lunch first and then going back to her apartment to watch a movie or something. Unlike last time, Logan actually warned his publicist that he would meet up when they landed in L.A. His words caught her off guard but she quickly recovered, thanking him for telling her I'm advance so she would be prepared by magazines calling her asking what was going on between the two celebrities.

After some promotional events that took place in New York, Logan was finally on a plane on his way to L.A. With headphones securely placed over his ears, Logan rested his head on the seat and closed his eyes, allowing sleep to over take him.

"I'm going to be in L.A for a couple days." Selena announced as she held her little sister Gracie in her arms, a smile on her face as she looked down at her. Selena had always wanted a sibling, and to have Gracie in her life was a true blessing. When her mother had her first miscarriage, Selena was doubtful whether her mother would attempt to have any other child. However, she should have known better than doubting her mothers strength. "What's happening in L.A?" Her mother asked as she continued to make dinner with her back turned to her two daughters. "Photo-shoot." Selena simply stated as she continued to make funny faces at her younger sibling. 

From the corner of her eye Selena watched as her mother nodded her head, clearly used to her daughters schedule. "So, have you talked to Justin recently?" By the tone in her voice, it was obvious her mother was still upset about how the relationship ended, especially about the effect it had on her daughter. Selena recalled as her mom wrapped her arms around her and allows her daughter to cry on her shoulder after the relationship ended officially. It wasn't Selena's proudest moment. But nonetheless she was extremely grateful to have a mother would always be there for her. 

Selena instantly tensed at the mention of her ex though she brushed it off before her mom noticed. "No, he hasn't bothered to message me and neither have I." Against her better judgment, Selena has searched up Justin's name on the Internet and was appalled and what she was reading. He had been seen in different clubs practically every night with different girls beside him. Though she wouldn't admit it to anyone who asked, his actions were hurting her in an indescribable way. Though he had hurt her, Selena couldn't let go of the part of herself that loved him terribly. "It's for the best, sweetheart. That boy is just bad news." Her mothers dislike for Justin Bieber wasn't technically public news, but Selena knew perfectly well how she felt about him. "I know that, but yet there's still a part of him that loves him." That's all it took for her mother to stop what she was doing and wrap one arm around her Selena knowing her oldest was holding her youngest in her arms.
