As previously stated, Jennifer is artsy fartsy. Her best friend Jillian often joked that she must have been born with a pencil in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. Creating art any way she could was just who she was. She loved to dabble in different medias of art, adding her own spin and style to the pieces she laboured over. The very comfortable amount of life insurance she received after her parents death saw that she had an extensive education devoted to art and art schools and a lovely artist loft apartment set in a renovated warehouse at the edge of Crow Lake.
Her best friend and soul sister is Jillian Hartley and they have been besties since the fourth grade when Jillian had pushed Jennifer down at school for having the same backpack... They had long gotten over the ensuing shoving match that followed. The two were opposites in many ways but drawn and bound together by their love of art and beauty. Jillian was head curator at the Belleville Museum while Jennifer curated- also in Belleville- at a popular art gallery called Gaze and both couldn't be happier with their careers and both will tell you that the careers chose them. When it came to appearances, similarities stopped short. Jennifer was tall; about 5'8, with jet black hair and tanned looking skin that was natural. This came from her Metis Father while her cat green eyes and dusting of freckles came from her Mother's Irish roots. Along with the freckles and eyes, she had also been gifted with a wicked Irish temper which had always been a bane for her.
