*Claudia's POV*
Ashton had me blind folded as he drove. I had my hands at my sides and felt his fingers intertwine with mine. I smiled and broke the silence, "where are we going? I don't like surprises." That was a lie, though. I loved surprises.
"I can't tell you, baby. You have to wait until we get there," he answered with a small giggle.
I sighed and played with his hand in my lap, trying to pass the time. "Are we almost there?"
"Almost. You wanna play the question game?" He asked.
I stared at the dark fabric, "sure. You first."
"Okay, um...what's the worst thing that's ever happened to you?" He asked.
I thought for a bit, "um, I had a cousin who died when I was in third grade..he was only 6."
His hand tightened around mine, "I'm sorry, Claudia."
"No, really it's alright. It doesn't hit me as hard anymore, I'm fine. What about you?"
"Well, when I was a kid, I had a goldfish that drowned." He said.
"Aw, I'm sorry...oh wait!" I said, and Ashton burst out laughing.
I hit him, "Ashton!"
"Ow! You got my eye!" He said.
I quickly took my blindfold off, "oh my gosh, Ashton, are you alright! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you!" I apologized.
He laughed and held his hand up to his eye, "no I was just kidding, I'm fine! You did get my eye, though. But, I'm not blind. Put your blindfold back on!" He said and I laughed.
I placed the bandana back around my eyes. "Okay, so new question." I said.
"What's your favorite movie?"
"Ooh, that's a hard one...um probably World War Z, The Wolverine and This Is Us." I answered.
"The One Direction movie?" He laughed.
"Yes, it was very good." I said truthfully.
"Mine is World War Z, too." He said.
"Hmm, maybe we'll have to watch it sometime," I said with a smile.
There were many other answers asked and answered, and I felt like I knew him a lot better than before.
"Okay, last one since we are a couple minutes away...who was your first kiss?"
The blood rushed to my face as the car stopped and I felt his eyes on me. I turned my head toward the window and tucked my hair behind my ears, "you...." I admitted.
"Really?" He asked, surprise clear in his voice.
I nodded, "yeah, before you, I never got any attention from boys."
I felt his hand under my chin and he planted a kiss on my lips. I smiled and he did too, as he unbuckled my seatbelt and opened the door for me. He held my hands as he guided me to wherever we were going. I heard faint music playing that got gradually louder as we got closer.
We stopped walking and the bandana was taken off my eyes as I took in the scenery around me.
There was a red and white checkered blanket on the ground, and candles all around it. We were in a large park, with a good sized stream and a small, wooden bridge over it. There was a boom box on the ground next to the blanket and a picnic basket right in the middle of the blanket that laid on the soft, green grass.
I smiled up at Ashton, who took my hand and led me to the blanket. "Ashton, I love this so much!" I said and wrapped my arms around him.
He spun me around in his arms and I kissed him softly. He set me down again and we sat on the blanket. He opened the picnic basket and took out two Subway sandwiches, a couple sodas, and some chocolate chip cookies.
