"We have to tell our families, Zayn." Alex was right, it was five months into her pregnancy, and none of them have yet to tell any of their families, the media also have no idea, but they will soon because Alex's baby bump will be more visable.

"I know, we need to before media does..." He looked up at her from doing the washing up, "I'll ring 'em up when I'm done. Maybe we can hide the bump?" Zayn offers.

"We're not hiding the bump, you dumbass." Alex snaps.

"Woah, I guess it doesn't take too long into the pregnancy for mood swings to kick in," Zayn says with his arms up in defense, taking a step back. Alex jerks her head towards Zayn, raising one eyebrow.

"No, Zayn. It's not fucking mood swings. It's called I've-been-through-so-much-shit-with-this-dumbass-pop-star-and-now-I-don't-know-how-to-break-it-to-my-family-that-we're-together-let-alone-him-impregnating-me. Also known as stress. You're not fucking helping," she turns to do to the dishes again, "oh, and you're knowledge on pregnancy needs improvement. The first trimester is normally peaceful, whilst the second is where the mood swings fall in place."

"Well, we'll see how you are around your twentieth trimester." Zayn jokes. Alex doesn't realize the kid was messing around, so she scoffs and his lack of knowledge around pregnancy terminology.

Alex sighs as she turns the tap off, drying her hands after placing the last dish in the rack. "Dry those," she makes a gesture towards the dishes, "and I suppose I'll break the news to my Taya."

The girl picks up the phone and bravely dials the number. As it rings, her anxiety level slowly rises. "Yes," she gratefully thought to herself, "voicemail." As she hangs up the phone. She sighs a sigh of relief, but just as she was going to share it went to voicemail, the telephone begins ringing. "Fuck," is all she could mutter to herself. "Probably at work... I'll try Aman, she wouldn't get pissed..." She thought, going through her phone's contacts, quickly pressing call on her name. Aman answered on the fourth ring.

"Ayy, Diya!" Aman said cheerfully,

"Hey! Aman, how are you?" She started conversation light, before hitting her cousin with the news.

"Good, good, everything fine with you? You usually text," she was right, Alex normally texted her because Aman was busy with school things, so she knows it must be important.

"Oh my God, Aman, I'm pregnant and I k-"

"YOU'RE PREGNANT?!" She almost screamed,

"Yes! Yes! Calm dow-"

"Who's is it?" Alex could practically hear the smirk on her cousin.

"Zayn's," she said after a moment, it sounded like Aman dropped her phone but she didn't.

"You're carrying Zayn Malik's child? Oh my God, how good is that? That's bloody damn good, have you told anyone else yet?"

"Only his band mates, and Aubrey. I cannot tell Bibi, or Bhua, she's really clingy like my Masi, tell Charan. I have to go, ring me up later, yeah? Cheers." Aman said bye and both hung up, with a heavy sigh, Alex slums down on he sofa. Zayn finished drying the wash, and joined her on the sofa, unexpectedly pulled her on him, so her head was in his lap. She giggled slightly saying "you're such a twat," whilst hitting his chest as light as she could manage. She then said "oh! I just remembered Aubrey booked me an appointment for an ultrasound thing, right yeah, so I gotta go to that, she's comin' with me." To which Zayn asked "Am I coming too, then?" She then replied "if you want."

Later that day, Zayn and Alex decided that they need to tell his parent, so they drove down to Bradford from her Leeds home, which only took about half an hour with the traffic. They worked up the guts and stood awkwardly at his parent's front door.

"Uh... You knock," Alex looked over at Zayn from staring longingly from the bell.

"I knock? You knock!"

"It's your parent's house!" She whisper shouted, he rolled his eyes and rang the bell. "Maybe they're not home..." Alex whispered, looking down at her shoes. The door creaked open, and stood a girl. Alex quickly looked at the door, the girl smile and hugged Zayn after a moment. Alex knew he has sisters, but she didn't think she would ever meet them.

"Zayn!" the young girl smiled at her brother, letting both in, "who is this? Is this your," she pauased with a big cheeky grin. "Girlfriend?" Alex and Zayn echanged looks, then looked back at the girl.

"Actually, Waliyha, she's not, we've been on dates," which is true, they went out a lot together, and been on dates, but none of them offically asked each other out. "Is uh, mum or dad home?" he asked, shutting the door.

"Yeah, mum is home, in the livingroom." She said before leaving the front foyer.

"Are you ready for this?" they asked each other, both shaking their heads 'no' but they worked up the gut and Zayn took Alex into the livingroom.

Zayn's mom was sitting on the sofa, watching tv when the two walked in, she quickly looked over to see the people that entered her vision. A smile brought to her face, ad she got up and hugged her son.

"Hi mum," he smiled as she pulled away, she noticed Alex right away. "Mum, this is Diya, we're uh... dating, kinda."

"Hello," Alex softly smiled at his mom.

"Kinda dating? what does that mean, then?" She asked.

"No one asked to be boyfriend/girlfriend,"

"I see, well, hello Diya, very nice to meet you." She smiled at Alex.

"You too, Mrs. Mailk."

"Well, come on, have a seat, want me to make some tea?" Zayn and Alex took a seat on a sofa, Alex shook her head to Zayn, "We're fine, thanks mum, but uh.. we erm gotta tell you something, come sit down." Once his mom was seated on the other sofa, they all faced each other.

"So, mum. We uh.. have some news for you and dad, and uh..." Zayn just couldn't say out.

"I'm having a child." Alex quickly said after the tension got awkard. "Mataji, I'm very sorry, you don't even know me, just, it's my fault." She panicked, but did not show her fear. Zayn's mom quietly laughed to herself, the saying "mataji? Dear, just call me Trisha, it's fine, these things happen, it happened to me four times. Just take care of the baby, don't let them get into drugs." Zayn looked a bit embarrassed by his mom, then nodded, showing he was listening, Alex nodded as well. "Well, I'll tell your father when he gets home from work, do you want to tell your sisters? Or should I? They're all here."

"We can," Zayn flashed a smile, getting up off his seat, Alex followed his action, as he guided them upstairs. "Okay, oldest to youngest, or youngest to oldest?"

"Oldest," Alex confirmed, he took her to his oldest sister, Doniya. Her door was closed. Zayn gently knocked on her door, and both waited.

"What!" They heard a shout come from the other, he opened her door and they both stepped into her room. "Uh, hey, Doniya." Zayn smiled. She got uo and hugged him, then faced Alex. That's when she realized that they don't look much a like, and she would never guessed they were brother and sister.

"You must be Alex, saw those news stories, how's ya end up with this loser?" Alex giggled a bit at the comment.

"Hey!" Zayn was unheard,

"It's uh, a long story," Alex replied. "Really long."

"But that's not why we're here!" Zayn jumped to say before Doniya could say anything. "We're here because we're having a baby, well not us, but her, Alex is the birthing it- it? No them, not them as in two, but one child."

"Really? Well congratulations, I get to be an auntie then." She smiled. They all talked for a bit before moving onto Safaa. She didn't really seem to care as much. Waliyha was very excited when they told her.

"Hey, Waliyha, guess what." Zayn looked at his youngest sister, with a big smile.

"What?" She giggled at her brother.

"You're gonna be an auntie," he paused. "Isn't that exciting?" He asked. Waliyha nodded her head with a big smile.

"Am I really? That's crazy, but ew, you got her pregnant? You're not even dating." She tried not to laugh.
