Chapter 6

"A hockey game?" Louis asked.

"Yeah," I smiled.

"That sounds fun, but we aren't supposed to be in the public eye right now." Harry said.

"Oh, no worries. We'd be going in the players' entrance." I said and walked over and sat on the floor with Niall, Harry, and Autumn.

"How are we going to get access to the players' entrance?" Liam asked, and walked over to us.

"I have access, and anyway my brothers on the team." I said, Autumn began to point at the logo on her hoodie, she smiled with pride. The boys and I laughed at her innocence.

"Really? That's cool. When are we leaving?" Harry asked, before he started to tickle Autumn.

"We have to meet my brother in half an hour. So you should start getting ready now, I don't know how long it takes you guys to get ready?" I said.

The boys looked at me in disbelief and scoffed, I just laughed.

"We don't take that long, Zayn is the one who takes forever." Liam said.

"Not true." Zayn piped in.

"Whatever." Louis said.

Zayn rolled his eyes, each of the boys left, and I played with Autumn on the floor.

About twenty minutes later, all the boys had returned except one, Zayn. "What is taking him so long?"

"We told you, he takes forever." Harry said, he had Autumn on his hip, she was twirling her fingers in his hair. Harry took out his phone and began taking pictures of himself and Autumn.

Five minutes later, Zayn came down the steps, he was dressed in simple black jeans, a white v-neck, and a black leather jacket. "It's about time."

"Oh, hush." Zayn said, as he walked by me. The scent of his cologne filled the air around me, it was quite compelling.

"Alright, ready?" I said and grabbed my keys.

We walked down the hallway to the elevator, Harry was holding Autumn. I walked next to Harry, Liam lead the way, while Zayn, Niall, and Louis followed closely behind. He walked through the hotel, we exited through the back exit and walked straight to my car. Everyone squeezed in, I was in the drivers' seat, Zayn next to me in the passenger, Autumn in her car seat, Harry was next to her, then Niall, Liam, and Louis was on the end.

I drove the extremely short distance to United Center. I pulled around to the players' entrance and parked. Just as we pulled in, I saw Patrick pull in behind me. We got out of the car, as Patrick was walking over to the car. Johnny was with him too.

"Hey, Hayden." He smiled, as I walked to him and gave him a hug. "Hello, Zayn. Nice to see you again." Patrick and Zayn awkwardly shook each others hands. Harry walked around the car with Autumn in his arms, she jumped out of his arms when she saw Uncle Patty and Uncle Johnny.

"Hey, there munchkin!" Patrick smiled and took her into his arms. Autumn wrapped her arms around his neck, she looked over at Johnny and reached her arms out towards him. Johnny smiled and took her into his arms, he kissed her on the cheek, "Hey there, little one."

Autumn giggled into his neck, then she looked around until her eyes landed on me, she reached her arms out, I walked over to Johnny and took Autumn.

"Hey, Hayds." Johnny smiled.

"Hey, Johnny." I returned the smile. "Alright, let's head in, shall we?"

Everyone nodded and we headed towards the arena. We walked inside and headed towards to locker room, most of the guys were already there. They were joking around, since the game didn't start for about another two hours.
