As I stroll down mall hallway. Many guys and girls stared at me, either with a pleasing look, or disgusted.

This was going to be difficult to get through this shopping experience alone. But I realized this is the last of me being ungrounded. Might as well live it up.

I walked into a hat shop. They sold baseball caps with cute designs, and other types of caps and designs.

I smiled at the worker there. He smiled back and walked up to me, "needing any help?" He said.

"Yeah, I'm pretty lost, I'm not even sure what I want" I say in nervousness while I look at him in the eyes. He gazed into mines and I hated it.

I hated his pretty brown eyes. God, why?

He continued to explain in what style I may have.
But all I heard honestly was Blah Blah Blah, let's fuck.

"You think you'd be interested in that?" He said.

I was no longer zoned out and realized he asked me something. I couldn't reply with anything but a smile.

"Let's date" I say randomly very anxious yet confident about it, "I mean we don't have to, you're just really pretty, you're not even pretty, you're hot, god you're too hot for me, what am I doing right now?"

He laughed smirking, "you're cute"

"I'm such a disruption at your job huh?" I say as I look at him smiling.

"Yeah, but a cute one" he said smiling, "I wouldn't mind getting fired because of you"

"You don't even know me though " I say blushing, feeling my cheeks burn over a stranger. A hot one.

"Let's change that then" he said as he grabbed my hand rubbing the knuckles gently and kissed it. "Buy one, get one free, my treat" He added.

I bought a hat, and gazed off at him as he checked everything off into the machinery.

I realized he wrote his number and name on the receipt.

"Thanks, Calum" I said to him as I walked out smiling. Him and I started texting immediately after I left the store. He already knew me in those 2-3 hours. He understood me.

I told him about Nick. He told me to stay away from him; and I was planning that, but I was just afraid to leave because I didn't know what he was capable of.

But, Calum just had these poetic words to keep me totally calm. He told me to come by the store again and I did.

"I just want to make sure you're breathing" he said to me as he walked up towards me.

I smiled, "thanks very considerate"
I hugged him tightly. I just felt something. Something that wasn't going to be my perfect ending.

"Could you promise me?" I asked him, "I know we don't know each other, but if I get quiet for awhile... please look for me"

He nodded.
"I'm off in 49 minutes, let me take you home" he said.

"Don't worry about I'm just gonna get home myself" I told him as I held him tightly.

We said our last goodbyes.
Shopping was dreadful yet fun. I talked to a lot of new people.

I got home late and realized my dad's car wasn't there. Was he working late? I heard rustling in the bushes.

I unlock the door quickly and placed my bags inside the house. I smiled as I texted Calum while standing outside the door.

I heard the rustling again.

"Who's there?!" I shouted, "show yourself?!"

I got closer to the bush. I felt such a knot in my stomach feeling tense. This was a stupid idea.

Too late to turn back now.

I got closer and began slowly removing the leaves. The dark figure I saw tackled me onto the ground and shouted at me.

"You thought you could leave me? Huh? Like I don't mean shit to you! YOU THINK YOU CAN SPIT ON ME BECAUSE IM YOUR TRASH! YOU WHORE!"
He screamed at me.

"GET OFF OF ME FUCKER!! YOU'RE DRUNK!" I shouted at him, I felt an anger build up in me.

Then he pulled out a gun, pressing it against jawline of my neck.

"You really want to say that to me?" He said, his voice lowering.

"Put it down" I whispered in fear, as I felt the pressure against my neck. I could feel my eyes watering, and my face getting heated.

"So you can call the police? So you can get the man you once loved arrested?! Do you even still love me?!" He shouted, "you've turned me into a crazy person, I've gone mad because of you"

"Listen, Snicker, my sweet sweet sweet Snicker, I love you okay? I do, but you're making me afraid, and I don't want to be afraid of you, I love you" I say softly as my body laid there stiffed.

"I love you Dolline, but I have to do this" He said. He loaded the gun and placed a bag over my head.
