I hummed as I cooked breakfast, after tying my (h/c) and half-black hair into a small high ponytail.

I'm (f/n) Kagami, currently 13 years old and I'm a junior middle schooler.

IM SO EXCITED TO BECOME A BIG SISTER.

last night, Okaa-san told me and Taiga-nii that she was going early in the morning to adopts a child from the orphanage. She wanted me and Onii-san to be prepared looking after kids in the future plus she had a trip to go to and she didn't want us staying in the house alone without any responsibility. The best mother ever or so that's what Taiga-nii sarcastically said.

I automatically agreed but Onii-san was completely and totally being un-rational.

Taiga Kagami, age 14, also a middle schooler, 2nd year.
He's easily irritated and so easily hungry, I swear he has four stomachs or something.
Taiga is a hot-headed, overprotective, competitive, easily distracted, idiotic and clueless red head. Our family calls him BAKagami for short.

But I still love him as a brother/idol way as he loves me back in the sibling way. Ew. I would never fall in love with my older brother, that would be just so WEIRD!

I carefully served the piping hot bacon onto the two plates and carried the pans to the sink. I carried the plates to the dining room.

Breakfast first, dishes later.
Taiga grabbed his plate as I served it to him and I took my seat across him.

"Itadakimasu!" Taiga and I clapped our hands and did a little pray.
Taiga-nii started to dived into the food while I eat in a civilized manner.

"Are you excited?" I asked, swallowing my food before I spoke.
"About what?" He replied with his mouth full.
"Oh you know, the summer vacation, staying home, summer homework..THE FACT THAT WE WILL HAVE A NEW SIBLING!!" It was hard not to squeal at the thought.

"Tch. Only if they're not annoying as you were when I had to look after you." He grunted.

"What did you say?!" I slammed my palms into the tabled, grabbing his entire attention.
He got up and slammed his hands, following my actions.

"You heard what I said or are you just deaf?" He teased.
"Are you saying there's something wrong with my ears?!"

"Did I stutter?" He smirked while I growled.
"SHUT UP YOU, BAKAGAMI!!"
"HEY! DONT CALL ME THAT MIDGET!"

"DOMT CALL ME THAT BESIDE YOU'RE FOURTEEN AND IM THIRTEEN. MAJOR TOTAL DIFFERENCE. USE YOUR HEAD BAKAGAMI!!"
"WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING MIDGET!!"
"WHY ARE YOU REPLYING?!" I grabbed his collar and pulled him in.

We had an intense staring battle, before I blinked and laughed. He started to chuckled along. His chuckling is different you know, you should see him when he's laughing while playing basketball and his opponent called him weak. Scary rape face, scarred for life.

He bit into his bread while picking up his plate and taking it to the sink.
"Hey eat up, I don't want another lecture on why I'm late from my sensei." Taiga-nii muttered and blankly glared.

Stubbornness. It's runs in the family. Also loudness but you get the point.

I nodded and gobbled up my last remaining bacon and rushed to the kitchen where big bro was currently cleaning. Dropping my plate in the water-filled-sink made Tagia-nii groaned in annoyance.

Teehee shame on you, you pitiful cinder-bakagami you!
I snickered before rushing upstairs to start wearing my uniform and also to escape big bro dangerous grip of a an unexpected attack like the elbow wrestling move.
