I wrote this poem for a class assignment, we were suppose to pick 6 sentences from a book and write a poem. This is mine

Angry Grass

I was the only ghost.

I liked to stand in front of people,

I just didn't like to show.

I saw Grandpa and Grandma Sander,

Painting away.

The painting was angry on grass,

Sorry on an easel.

Grandpa Sander stinks of liquor,

It made me angry.

I brought the subject up,

And saw superstition in his answer,

In fact I saw something more.

Paintings are lying all around him

         In the angry grass

It made me sorry

         I'd ever brought it up.

And I was sorry

         I didn't do something more
