Jax walked in the house to find Emma sitting in the kitchen chain smoking removing his kutte he sat across from her with a concerned face
"Who are you?" Jax asked
"I take it you found out I don't exist" Emma said
"What's your real name?" Jax asked
"Emma. Emma Berry" Emma said
"What's so bad about your past that you are hiding?" Jax asked trying his best to remain calm
Emma took a deep breath "I'm wanted" Emma said
"Wanted for what?" Jax asked
"Multiple crimes, Arson, assault, domestic and attempted homicide" Emma said
Jaxs eyes grew wide
"What the fuck for?" Jax asked
"My husband set me up. He was cheating on me and I found out and tried to leave, well he set fire to our home with the girl inside after we got into a huge fight" Emma said
"So if you didn't do it why are you running?" Jax asked
"Because he is a powerful man" Emma said
"What about Carl what does he play in this?" Jax asked
"Carl used to be a great man but drinking turned him into a nasty person" Emma said
"So what do you have to do to fix this?" Jax asked
"Probably turn myself in" Emma said
"Let me talk to lowen and see if we can fix this without you leaving" Jax said
"Jax I have to turn myself in, eventually someone is going to figure out who I am" Emma said
"I'm not letting you do it" Jax said
"Jax, don't be like this please" Emma said
"Be like what? I want you Emma, I want to know you. I'm not letting you go I just got you" Jax said
"You don't own me Jax, not even a little bit. We fucked last night and your assuming things and I don't know if I am ready" Emma said standing up
"So your just going to leave? Just like that?" Jax said
"Like I said you don't own me, you don't control me" Emma said
"Where you gonna go? Back to Carl who beats the shit out of you?" Jax asked
"Just let me go Jax please" Emma said
"Fine, go. I swear if he lays a hand on you he will be as good as dead" Jax said
"Thank you for everything Jax but I've gotta do this. I'm tired of being in hiding so I'm gonna go tell Carl the truth and then I'm going to turn myself in" Emma said
"Emma please" Jax begged
Emma stood before Jax and touched his face giving him a small smile
"Your a great man Jax, and any woman is lucky to have you in thier life" Emma said
"I want you in my life. I want all of you all the time, never in my life have I met someone who memorized me the way you do" Jax said
"There's only one problem Jax I'm a wanted criminal" Emma said
"You don't think I am? Jesus Emma before you came to work for us I did fourteen months, I'm always wanted for something" Jax said
"Why do you want me to stay so bad?" Emma asked
Jax cupped Emma's face "because I want to show you how a woman is supposed to be treated, I want to wake up next to you ever day and fall asleep next to you every night" Jax said
"Jax, you just want a rebound" Emma said
"No I want you, all of you I want to be with you and only you" Jax said
"Jax..." Emma began but was cut off from Jaxs lips crashing into hers
Emma sat up panting, she thought the other night was intense she was proved wrong, Jax paid attention to every part of her body not even knowing those places could turn her on in a way she never imagined
"Fuck now I know why everyone was always wanting more" Emma said
"There's a big difference between you and them. I just fuck them. No foreplay just bending them over and pounding into them. Your different" Jax said
"How?" Emma asked
Jax pulled her back down to him
"Because this is probably the longest I've ever had sex with anyone, normally it's pump and dump" Jax said
"So sweet with words" Emma said sitting back up and pulling her hair up into a bun
Jax ran his hand over her large tattoo that ran across the top of her back
"The world is a jungle you either fight or run forever" Jax recited
Emma looked over her her shoulder at Jax
"It doesn't apply anymore" Emma said
"Babe, you need to fight this" Jax said
"What if I lose?" Emma said
"You won't. Look how far you've come, look at you now" Jax said
"The only thing I've accomplished was to bed Jax fucking Teller" Emma said
"Are you saying that's a bad thing?" Jax asked
Emma smiled "No, definitely a good thing but what about the future?" Emma asked
"What about it? I want you with me, I want to be with you every step of the way" Jax said
"It's not going to be an easy fight" Emma said
"I'm prepared for it" Jax said
Emma spun around to face Jax
"Happy I finally gave in?" Emma asked
Jax pulled her on top of him "you have no freaking idea" Jax said kissing her
A few weeks later
Emma sat at the kitchen table with Ally Lowen chewing the inside of her cheek
"Emma, literally all of this evidence is pointing towards you" Ally said
"I know how can I get around this?" Emma asked
"I'm not really sure as of right now, I can supeana the files on your husband that's the only thing I don't have" Ally said
"How long am I looking at if they find me guilty?" Emma asked
"I can probably knock it down to four years on good behavior" Ally said
"I won't survive four years" Emma said putting her hands over her face
"Emma, you ran and hid for three years I can't get you out of that" Ally said
"What should I do? Just turn myself in?" Emma asked
"No wait until you hear from me, I'm gonna make a few phone calls and get some things in order before we agree on anything" Ally said
"Okay, thanks" Emma said as Ally got her things ready and headed out the door
After Ally left Emma went into the bedroom and sat, thinking about how much her life had changed over the last few weeks. Her and Jax were officially together as he deemed her his old lady. She was back to working full time at the club.
Emma laid in bed and tried to forget that she is most likely looking at some sort of jail time if Ally couldn't get her out of it. She was terrified to mention it to Jax. Hearing the door bust open Emma shot up out of bed as she heard heavy footsteps coming down the hall. It couldn't of been Jax he has a key as do most of the members
The door swung open and Emma froze
"You never came back you whore, it's time to pay" Carl said smiling deviously
