[UN-BETAED]

His whole body was screaming in pain as soon as he regained conscious. He opened his eyes and bore his eyes onto the white ceilings before darting it to the bigger than average hospital room and saw no one in sight.

Luhan lifted his hands weakly and touched his bandage-wrapped head and he winced when he accidentally put on some pressure to it. He arched his back and sat straight on the bed as he fought the throbbing pain on his skull.

As he internally questioned who's kind-hearted enough to bring him to the hospital for a treatment and how long had he been knocked out, he got out of the bed when his body was no longer badly aching except for some dull pain on some spots on his body, it wasn't badly injured unlike his head that felt so heavy with countless bandage wrapped around it; his right hand was adorned with some bandages and his feet only had little scratches. Other than that, he was free from injuries.

He took baby steps towards the mahogany door (which he confirmed that this room was a private hospital room) and again he wondered who's considerate enough to land him in such an expensive suite.

With the door as a barrier, his ears caught up hushed whispers outside the door. Putting his hands on the door as a support, he slightly pushed the door open, still unbudged from his decision to escape the suffocating room.

"Why do you care so much for him? It's not your fault that he end up here!"

The harsh whisper made him halted his moves, retreating his hands back from the door until it closed again with a soft click. Isn't that Miyoung's voice? She must be talking to Sehun outside the door. It was wrong to eavesdrop and yet he was completely aware of what he was doing when inched closer and put his ears to the door. Are they talking about me? It's not wrong to listen... right?

"Miyoung, please. This is not a suitable time for us to talk about anything. I just don't want anything to happen to Luhan. I've done so many wrongs things to him. I feel so guilty."

"All of this will not happen if you didn't marry him!"

"Oh, how easy of you to blame me. It's because of you, I married him! You gave me no choice! If you didn't back out from your promises, all of this won't happen!"

Deeming it was enough for that day, Luhan stepped backwards and distanced himself from the door, he didn't want to hear any more, it felt like his heart was stepped on brutally with each words ringing pass his ears.

He was exhausted beyond words, tired of everything.

Luhan lied down on the bed, making himself comfortable before he drowned in his never-ending thoughts and possibilities. By thinking so hard, apart from his head started to throb in pain. To ease the pain, he kept his eyes shut tight and breathed in heavily, calming down before coming back to his sense.

He had succeeded in making Sehun and Miyoung face each other again -- not that it was really his own effort because Miyoung came back by herself all this time and he was the fool one to not notice it earlier. There was only one more thing for him to sort out before everything finally falls back in place.

Like what he heard from the conversation between sehun and his ex, it was clear that Sehun had stuck to him because of guilt tripping. How does he wash away Sehun's guilt for him? How to make his husband unpity him and go back to Miyoung's side? As long as Sehun blamed himself for what happened, Luhan knew that Sehun won't easily go back to her.

Suddenly his eyes light up as an idea crossed his mind. And with that, he set a new goal; make Sehun fall out off pity for him.

He heard the creaking sound of the door to his ward being pushed open and he instantly shut his eyes close. Then he heard a few voices that he had known all his life and other voices mixed together. He could hear their conversation going on and on about his condition. It all sounded so loud whereas the voices had been nothing but hushed whispers.
