Within you a painful sorrow,
Then and only then,
I've passed too far away,

Don't have the water you drink become poison,
Don't let your wound get deeper,
If one day you hear,
That my grave is without headstone,
I see it as your right to come and visit me,
With a bouquet of roses,

On top of my heart that you have always owned,
My wish was to see you as a bride,
But not for myself,
For the ground that is watered with blood...
