"What's all this commotion out here?" NaRa said as she rubbed her eyes, walking to us with a big smile on her face. I hugged her, so tight she can feel my broad chest and I can feel her heart pounding against mine.
"You found a good man NaRa" Father in law smiles. It made me feel a sense of relief, phew. Her dad don't hate me, in fact he likes me.
"I did Appa." she replied and held my hand. "I'm never gonna let go of this hand, ever."
I looked at her, smiling as I kissed her hand, "I won't ever let you down love."
Just then the kids came into the room, "we have a family" the twins said. And that's when I knew this was real, this isn't for show, this is genuine, this is us.
***fast forward****
Seven years later, NaRa and I wake up at midnight. It's our youngest, Justin. He's just a few days old, NaRa is weary from her labor and now she has to take care of the little one. Our family has grown since then. We got married (for real) 3 years ago. We had our first biological child a year ago and now we have our second. We grew from a family of six to a family of eight. The kids have grown much closer and are even our legal children as soon as we were married. I still look at NaRa the same way I looked at her seven years ago, I still love her the same, wait no, I loved her more, J grew deeply in love with her to the point where she's irreplaceable. She's the one, and I'm sure of that.
