Chapter 22~Please just say yes

Dan's P.O.V

I was probably Pj's I idea to get Phil exact car. But it was my idea to take him to where we had our first ever date and propose. I gave him the surprise car first then a surprise drive to this location and put a blindfold on so you don't know where you're going or where you are! As soon as we stopped where I wanted to stop, I told him to stand still and not take the blindfold off until I said to. By then I had enough time to make sure everything was in place, to get the sign and the ring out and kneel on one knee. As I announced that he could take off the blindfold he ripped it off suddenly seeing everything and, in shock, fell to the ground crying, with joy I hope. He got off the ground and ran so fast to me that he fell on top of me and kissed me. We lay on the ground for a bit looking at the clouds once he was off me. I realised he was dazed by the clouds and probably was in total shock from all the bloody surprises he's had lately. First my memory, then the car now this. His one lucky guy but I am truly lucky to have him. I ask myself too much how I ever got lucky and ended up with this angel as my best friend, boyfriend, probably now my fiancé and soulmate. "Phil..?" I asked. I my head I was thinking I just need a yes, please just say yes. "Yeah Dan?" I looked at him, into his striking scarlet blue eyes. I get lost in them sometimes. "Will you marry me?" I whispered he smiled, leaned in for a kiss. As our foreheads touched together he looked in my eyes and whispered back "With all my heart, Yes" I smiled as we passionately and sucked each others faces. This has been a good day. I didn't need to take him to a fancy restaurant and claim him as mine to other people. Also, I wanted to go to somewhere more secluded. We only found this place as we were walking and found an abandoned picnic area with a beautiful atmosphere. This where we agreed to come whenever we wanted a secluded date. It was beautiful in the dark too! The time we went in the dark, we kissed under the night sky and cuddled. It was beautiful but cold. Very cold. Like it is now. I looked and the sleeping boy cradled in my embrace and smiled at how adorable he looks when he sleeps. His black hair was raffled up and he was wearing his glasses today, luckily I didn't take him to the zoo. I felt the urge to play the his fringe. Would that wake him? I don't know. Only one way to find out. I ran my fingers through his silky hair and he squirmed. Great it did. Or he was already half awake. I don't know. Too many questions to keep asking yourself Dan as you know you get overwhelmed. Phil moved his head so he has looking at me he smiled and looked as if he was asking to go home. "Do you want head home? I'll drive?" I asked. Today has been Phil's day. He probably need this. He nodded rubbing his eyes and yawning. I planted a kiss on his forehead before he stood and admired the bouquet of roses on the tree with the sign. "Do you to engrave our names into the tree and the date?" I thought that was a pretty good idea. "Yeah why not!" He smiled back. I found and old, broken pen in my pen got it out then engraved our names into a heart and the date before driving home and eating pizza...
