I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I slowly got out of bed and checked my phone. I looked through Instagram and saw that a bunch of my friends were posting about Summer Vacation. I wonder why? I went downstairs to eat breakfast and saw my and my little sister Madison in the kitchen. Mom was making pancakes. She only makes them on special occasions. It's a school day today. What's so special about it? I sat down and ate. "So Megan, are you excited for school?" Mom smiles at me. "Why would I be excited for school?" I asked with a disgusted look on my face. "It's the last day of school!" Madison shouts with excitement. "OMG IT'S THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL?!?! HOW COULD I FORGET?!?! I screamed at the top of my lungs. Then I fell off my chair. Mom and Madison laughed. I got up and continued to eat my pancakes. When I finished I ran upstairs and got ready.

When I got out of the bathroom my phone buzzed. It was a text from Taylor. I met her 2 years ago at Summer Camp and we exchanged numbers there. A month after, she moved to Norway. We've been texting and calling each other ever since.

I put my phone in my bag and got packed. It was 8:10 when I finished. We had to leave in 5 minutes. I went to Madison's room to check on her. I opened the door and saw her playing with her dolls. "Madison there's no time to play we need to get to school!" I said. Madison put her dolls down and went downstairs. We got ready and we walked to school.
School was a lot more fun than usual! We had an end of year assembly and dance! We did not work we just watched movies and ate candy. When It was over I went to Madison's Elementary School. It wasn't that far from my High School. Her and I walked home and talked about our day. When we walked in through the front door we saw Mom on the phone. She looked really excited. When she hung up I asked her, "What are you so happy about?" She smiled a really big smile and said, "Guess what?! We're moving!!"
