Chapter 22

Taylor’s POV

I took a deep breath. “Do you like Megan?” I ask, Martinus stares wide-eyed. “Um….” He says. “I know you do. I think she likes you too.” I said looking down. “I’m sorry Taylor. I do like Megan, but I wanna be with you!” He said looking into my eyes. My eyes were filling with tears and I got up. “I said I’m sorry and I don’t wanna be with her!” Martinus said. “I’m not mad just…...I knew it.” I sobbed. He hugged me. I pushed him away. “I thought you weren’t mad!” He said starting to cry. “Well I lied! How am I not supposed to be mad?! You like my best friend!” I said crying so hard my eyes were burning. I slapped him kinda lightly, then ran out of the room and down stairs to go for a walk. I started walking down the street when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around, expecting Martinus, but it was Megan. “What do you want?!” I said in an annoyed tone. “Tinus told me what happened. I’m sorry that we like each other. But he never meant to hurt you and neither did I!” She said. “I don’t wanna be mad it’s just so hard! I mean imagine Mac liked me! Wouldn’t you be mad?!” I yelled. “Yes I would be and I understand that you’re angry but just give him another chance!” She pleaded. I sighed. “Even if I wanted to he probably wouldn’t want to talk to me.” I said. “Are you kidding?! He’s crying to Mac right now about how much he hurt you!” She yelled. I nodded. “I’ll talk to him, calm him down, and then you can talk to him. I’ll see you at your spot.” She smiled. I smiled as she ran back to the house.

Megan’s POV

I ran into the house and saw Tinus sitting there crying. “TInus I’m sorry that she did that!” I said. This is like the 4th time I’ve said sorry! He pulled up his sleeves and showed me his arms. He went over his cuts from the last time he cut himself! I started crying as he hugged me. He said sorry and then we cleaned ourselves up and went to the bach. When we were almost there I stopped walking and so did he. “Tinus I know you like me. Taylor told me.” i said. “She told me you like me, too.” He said. We smiled at each other. “You know…….they say that you can stop liking someone if you get a kiss from them. If they’re not your soulmate.” He said slowly and smiled. I giggled and got closer to him. I kissed him. Nothing too special. Just a short, sweet kiss. We smiled at each other. “Yaaaa…...I don’t think I like you anymore!” I said jokingly. He laughed and agreed. “You know we can’t be together anyway….we both like someone better than we like each other.” He said. I nodded. “So we’re over each other?” I asked. “Ya” He smiled. I smiled back and we walked to the beach. Taylor was waiting at the end, where she and Tinus started dating. We were walking down the beach when Tinus said “Taylor gets me so sad sometimes.” “What do you mean?” I asked. “It just doesn’t feel like she likes me. I just want her to say something that proves me wrong, if you know what I mean?” He said. I nodded. “With a past like hers it’s hard to love. But she’ll come around. Just give her time.” I smiled. He smiled back and hugged me since we’re there. He walked in and I stared out into the sunset, which reminded me of Mac. I wish he was here. Then I felt someone’s arms wrap around my waist and a head on my shoulder. I knew immediately that it was Mac! We just talked and looked out into the sunset.

Martinus’s POV

I walked in and saw Taylor sitting on one of the rocks. “Hey.” I said. “Hey.” she replied looking up at me. I sat down next to her. “I’m sorry for everything that happened.” She said. “It’s ok. I guess I kinda deserved it. I mean, I did like another girl when I was dating the best girlfriend I could ever have!” I laughed. She giggled and hugged me. “I’m over Megan.” I said. She nodded. Then I got up. “Where are you going?” She asked. “I just need to check on Maggie. I left her there alone.” I said. “I thought you were over her!” Taylor said kinda annoyed. “I am, but I still care about her!” I replied. “You care about her way too much! I can tell all you think about is her! You clearly love her! So much!” Taylor yelled standing up. “I do not!” I yelled back. “I care most about you and you seem to never think that!” I yelled tearing up. “Why?! Why do you care so much about me instead of your precious crush?!” She asked. “Because…...because I love you!” I cried. Her face turned into a face of sympathy as she looked like she was about to cry. In fact, she did break down crying. I hugged her as we both sat on the ground. We just hugged for a bit until we both stopped crying. When she was done we looked at each other as I kissed her.

Idk if I'll update Dreams & Reality for a little bit since I hurt myself today. I either sprained or broke my ankle idk until tonight. I was playing soccer with friends and it didn't go so well....
