The Shy, Curvy Virgin's PoV

"See anyone you like?" Kelly asked me as she sipped her beer. I shook my head as I sipped my alcohol free soft drink.

"What about him?" Daisy inclined her head toward the bar. A blond dude with a red plaid shirt stood with a couple of his buddies, laughing loudly. I wrinkled my nose, uncomfortable with just the thought of going over there to talk.

"What if I interrupt and he isn't interested? What if he has a girlfriend?" I asked, glancing over him. He was tall, with wide shoulder and tights as big as tree-trunks. Way out of my league.

"That's why you flirt with them before going over." Christie said, taking a long sip of her elegant drink.

When I just looked at her with confusion, she sigh and nodded her head towards a few young girls standing by the bar, looking towards a table across the room.

"See those girls?" she asked, and when I nodded, she continued. "They are staring at some guy, smiling and giggling. When he glances over, he will notice them staring. If he's interested, he will smile back. if he's not, he won't acknowledge them."

"Is the guys never the one to make the first step?" I asked, lifting my shoulder. I could, would never giggle.

"Sure. If you notice them watching." Kelly said. "For that, you need to look around."

Rolling my eyes at her, I gave a small chuckle. I glanced at Daisy, who gave me an encouraging smile before her eyes drifted back to the plaid shirt. I followed her glance, and saw the dude staring back at Daisy. I felt my eyebrows lift when he excused himself and walked towards us.

"See. I just smiled when I meet his gaze. No giggling needed." Daisy said encouraging to me, before smiling toward the bear coming to a stop next to her.

"Hello." He said, smiling down at her with open admiration. "I'm Max."

"Hi." Daisy said huskily as she smiled up at him. "I'm Daisy."

"Wanna dance, Daisy?" Max said, his eyes lifting briefly to inspect the dance floor, which was packed.

"Sure." Daisy said, standing up. Max took her hand, and lead her out just as a slower song came on. Wrapping his arms around her, they started to disappear amongst the entwined coupled swinging to the low crooning of some lovesick woman.

"That didn't seem so bad, did it?" Kelly asked me. I turned wide eyes on her.

"I've to dance?" I squeezed out.

"Calm down. You don't have to dance unless you want to. Start looking for a willing male first." Christie said.

I breathed in deeply, and started to sweep my eyes over the crowded club while Christie and Kelly started chatting about their planned weekends. Well, Kelly's was planned, Christie's still in delta.

I started to feel slightly dejected when I didn't find a single males eyes even close in my direction, before reaching halfway across the room and whizzing over a pair of dark, capturing eyes. my eyes staggered, stopped, swept back and meet the eyes staring at me across the room. I felt myself become flustered by the intensity of his stare. He blinked slowly, and I forced myself to look over to the dance floor before my eyes swept back on their own account to tangle with his. I blushed before moving downwards to see the slow smile creep over his perfectly sculptured lips over a strong nose. I glimpsed a pair of sharp cheekbones that was slightly flushed. I gave a gasp as I took in his face. He was devastatingly handsome, and I felt my heart flip up in my throat before sliding my glance over the rest of him, and my heart plumed down to the pit of my stomach. I tore my gaze of him, giving my head an angry shake. If Max had been out of my league, this man was from another planet.
