The Dragon and his princess

This is the story of
A dragon
And his princess

Stories are told around campfires
And told by thousands
About their story
About a man and his princess
A woman and her dragon

Some believe in it
While others say otherwise
But rather you believe it or not
Is entirely up to you

This story begins with
A young princess
And her dragon

The princess loved her dragon
And the dragon loved her back

They would always be near each other
Eating together,
Playing together,
Talking to each other.
It was like they only needed each other
Like it was only them,
The dragon
And his princess

It was peaceful
Until he came

He barged through the castle
His army right behind him
The Prince's army

Calling for the princess
For her to be his
To be his wife,
His queen

She denied
Saying loved another

With that the he called upon his army
To kill everyone in the castle
The maids and Butlers
Everyone in the castle
And burn it to the ground
Including the princess

Everyone were in a panic
Trying to escape
To flee, To live

Everyone except for the princess
And her dragon
They fought
Side by side
For their kingdom

The dragon attacked the army
Leaving the princess
To fight the prince

Swords clashed
Fire spreading everywhere

The prince attacked
But the princess easily blocked
She attacked
He blocked
He attacked
She blocked

It went on like this for what seemed
Like hours
Until the dragon screeched in pain

The princess looked towards the sound
To see the dragon
Covered mostly
In his own blood

She was frozen in fear
For her dragon

At this moment the prince attacked
He drove his sword into her chest
She stayed sighlent in shock
Within seconds she was dead

The prince raised up his sword
Claiming his victory
Claiming the land and everyone in it

The dragon knelt by the princess
Praying for it to be a dream
For this not to be real
For her to live

In rage he burnt the army
And prince to dust

He then searched across the land
For the lake of the goddess of death

It wasn't long till he found the lake
And Luna, the goddess of death

He begged on his hands and knees
For her to return his princess

The goddess took pity on him
But for a price

She agreed to bring the princess back
If he proved his love for her
By acting on 3 different stunts

Stunt one: jump off a cliff
She sent him to find the highest cliff
He could find then jump off

And he obeyed.
He went to the highest cliff
he could find
And jumped off
Than returned to the goddess

Lucky for him the cliff was facing
The sea

Stunt two: sword fighting
He must fight a worrior of her choosing

He agreed

The goddess summoned her greatest
Warrior, Titania
The queen of the fairies

As they fought
Swords clashed
Strikes were made
They were both equally skilled
In streagth and speed

But in the end the dragon won
With no life threatening injuries

Stunt 3: beast taming
He must tame three of the beats
Of her choosing

She released 3 of her savage wolves
All were identical
Pitch black fur
Razor sharp teeth
Sharp claws

He gladly accepted the challenge
For this was his last one

It took him four days
And four nights
But he did it
The once savage wolves
Acted no more than puppies
The goddess herself was shocked
But she was a woman of her word

She told him to wait on the cliff
(From which he jumped off from)

At sunset his princess will appear
And join this world once again

And with that he went to the cliff
And waited for his princess

At sunset the Golden sun glowed
It's glow reached the cliff
The dragon stared endlessly
Waiting for any sign for his princess

The princess stood there before him
Reaching out to
Cup his face with her hands

She cried with joy as he embraced her

Together they returned to their castle
And lived happily ever after
She as his queen
And he as her king
