Chapter Three: Love of Darkness

"I can't believe I lost.." said Alder.

With a sign of relieve you manage to beat Alder and becoming the champion of Unova! "Congratulation, (Your Name)! You become the new champion of Unova!" Said Alder with a smile.

"Thank you, Alder. I didn't know I have the guts to defeat you, Champ." You said with a small smile.

"Hahaha! Come, let's us celebrate your ceremony and announce your victory to the people of Unova!"

Fireworks blast to the clear sky. The ceremony began to start, everyone has attended to your victory. You saw your father in the crowd cheering you for your success. Even Iris is shouting your name! "Way a go,(Your name)"

~Axew! Axew!~

"I knew she could do it! I always had!"

As you walk in the stage along side with (favorite Pokemon), you wave to everyone in the crowd cheering for you.  "I would like to announce the new champion of Unova, (Your name) (Last name)!" Said Alder happily.

Everyone applause and cheer for  your victory. "For her get success, Grimsley announce that he'll throw a Victory Party for (Your Name) in her honor tonight!" Said Alder. 

'Tonight, I'll be the night that  I'll tell her to be my girlfriend' Grimsley thought with a grin. 

As everyone took off to get ready for the party, Grimsley saw you from a far distance talking with Iris and your father. "I think is about time, I should go and talk to them. Don't you agree, Liepard?" He said.

~Pard..~

"See! What did I tell you, (Your name)! I knew you could do it!" Said Iris as she hugs tightly.

~Axew! Axew!~

"I guess, you're right, Iris! I just panic or worry too much." You said with a small smile. "I just wish mom was here to see this.."

"I know she is, sweetie" Your father said happily.  "You're mother is very proud of you."

"I bet she's a wonderful woman is it she, Mr. (Last Name)"

All three of you froze without saying a word to anyone till you all turn around and saw Grimsley standing there hearing your conversation. 

"Grimsley!" You and Iris said in the same time.

"That can't be little Grimsley? Is it?" Your father said with a smile.

"I'm pretty sure I am, Mr. (Last name)." Said Grimsley. 

"My goodness You change a lot since the last time we saw you! Look how much you have grown!" Your father said as he pat Grimsley's back.

"Hehe.. Yeah. Same thing you and especially your lovely daughter, (your name)." Said Grimsley smiling.

As Grimsley and your father are chatting about their daily lives, "Hey (Your name), can I ask you something?" Iris asked.

"Sure, what is it?" You said.

"What dress are you wearing for the party" she grinned.

You blush in an instinct, "IRIS! Why would you ask me that!!"

"What? I'm just asking" she said laughing. "Besides, don't you want impress Grimsley with your "cute" charms."

'Is she trying to hooked with me with Grimsley?!'

"Umm...well." You struggle to get the words out of your mouth till a pair of arms grab your wrist. "I hope I see you there, tonight."

You turned your head  and it was Grimsley. "I guess I'll leave you two alone. Come Mr. (last name), let's give them some privacy." Said Iris as she winked at you.
