Emma was so tired that she fell asleep before Mary Margaret came back, but she woke up when the door opened and Mary Margaret tiptoed in. Neal had already left, and the baby had been taken to the nursery, leaving the two women alone.
"Oh, sorry!" Mary Margaret said, "I didn't mean to wake you!"
Emma smiled at her as she sat up.
"It's ok. I wanted to talk to you anyway." She saw that Mary Margaret was holding a large, brown book, "What's that?"
"This?" Mary Margaret said, holding up the book, "It's actually for you."
"For me?" Emma asked, confused.
"Yeah. I thought you could read it to the baby. You know, when he grows up a bit."
Mary Margaret held out the book to Emma, but she didn't take it.
"I can't. You've already done so much for me."
"Then don't think of this as a gift for you, think of it as a gift for your son." Mary Margaret said.
Emma sighed and took the book, "Thanks. Is that where you went?"
"Yeah," Mary Margaret said, bringing a chair over to Emma's bed and sitting on it, "So, what did you want to talk to me about?"
"I guess I just wanted to thank you. For... everything. I don't know where I would be without everything you've done for me."
"It was nothing-"
"It wasn't nothing. You were there for me when no one else was, and-" Emma was trying not to cry, "I'm just not used to someone putting me first."
Emma started sobbing and Mary Margaret pulled her into a hug.
"Well get used to it." She said.
"I don't even know why I'm crying." Emma sniffed, sitting back and wiping away her tears.
"You're tired. Get some rest." Mary Margaret advised, standing up.
"I will. Thanks for the book." Emma said.
She watched as Mary Margaret left, then lay back down and went to sleep.

When Neal went to see the baby in the nursery the next day and saw that he wasn't there he started to panic. Which is why he was so relieved to see Emma taking him out of a crib in her room with her back to the door.
"Thank god for that." He muttered as he walked in.
Emma turned around when she heard the door.
"Hey." She said, sitting on the bed.
Neal followed her, but stopped before he sat next to her.
"What's that?" He asked, pointing at the book Emma had left on the bed.
"That?" She asked, "That's a book. You know, you read it?"
"You know what I mean!"
Emma laughed, "Mary Margaret gave it to me. They're fairytales, and absolutely not the traditional ones you grew up with. I can guarantee that now."
"Really?"
"Last I checked Rumplestiltskin didn't have a son." Emma said.
Neal glanced at the book again. Could it be? Was that really his story in there?
"Yeah, good point." He finally managed to say as he sat next to her.
"By the way, I think I've got a name for him." Emma said.
"Yeah?"
"Henry. It's in the book, the Evil Queen's dad." Emma said.
"You want to name our son after the Evil Queen's dad?" Neal asked.
"She wasn't always evil!"
Neal looked down at his son and smiled.
"Henry. I like it." He said.
He wrapped his arm around her and kissed the top of her head. She rested her head on his shoulder.

Regina stormed angrily into Gold's shop having just seen Emma and Neal walking down the road with their baby.
"Gold!" She yelled, "Where are you?!"
Gold walked in from his office in the back.
"What can I do for you, Madame Mayor?" He asked, a fake smile on his face.
"You told me she wouldn't be happy," Regina snapped, leaning on the counter, "You said she would be miserable!"
"I did say those things," Gold said, "Was that all?"
Regina glared at him, "I just saw her with Neal and their kid and she looked pretty damn pleased."
"Did I not teach you well enough, dearie?" Gold asked. Regina looked at him, blankly, "What is the most powerful magic that you can think of? Magic that can transcend realms and break any curse?"
Regina thought for a moment, and then it dawned on her.
"True love." She said.
"Exactly," Gold said, now also leaning on the glass counter, "What Emma and Neal have? That's true love. It's saving her."
"Then what do we do?" Regina asked.
"We? We do nothing. If you want to stop, then you do it yourself." Gold said.
Regina raised her eyebrows, "You want her to break the curse, don't you? You made the curse to be broken."
Gold said nothing.
"Why?" Regina asked.
Sighing, Gold eventually said: "To find my son. Surely you know my story?"
"How could I not, I'm the reason it got rewritten." Regina muttered.
"What are you going to do then?" Gold asked, "You can't kill her without breaking the curse."
"What about him? What if I killed him?"
"Destroying her true love? That is extremely evil."
"I'm called the Evil Queen for a reason."
