Her husband asked her to eat again, "Please you are losing a lot of weight, your face is getting paller."
She took a bite from her salad and smiled at him "I am eating, do not worry"
Her husband felt relieved, smiling at her, he grabbed her hand and said "Thank you."

At least she was eating.
He thought.
What he did not know was the sad fact that she was actually putting a show in front of him, the sad fact that she emptied her stomach in the toilet first thing after seeing him get in his car and drive to the town high school where he teached calculus.

She adored her husband, but she was hiding her anger from him.
Her anger at this world that took away her beloved.
Her anger at herself, because she was the one who lost him.
Her anger at her husband.

Why didn't he get mad?
Why is he helping and caring for her?
He waited for this baby long enough.
He was excited whenever they went to the doctor to check on their baby, like a little kid seeing the snow for the first time.
The baby is long gone now.
All because of her.
If only she wasn't so stupid.
She wished he would show his anger.
She wished he would scream at her.
She wished she could see fury in his dark brown eyes instead of pity and sadness.
She wished she could go away and never come back, being fully aware that she brought sadness to the one she sweared to keep happy.
