Chapter 5

I run as fast as I can dodging the trees that seem to spring up to me i need to get my anger out and this is the only way I know how

feeling a little of my anger suppress I turn my fast run into a slow jog breathing heavily I've been running for about 2 hours now and I need a rest

*crack*

What was that? I imagined that right?
Turning round I realised I wasn't alone, I was Infront of two Wolfs, well rouges pathetic ones at that ha

They bared there teeth at me, how pathetic I could take them both of easily And they wouldn't even know what's coming to them, I get ready to pounce then I hear another crack as I slowly turn I realise there not alone, there's another 3 behind me, wow yeah I'm a dead wolf.

They all spring at once, one bites into my shoulder and i wince in pain, the other has my leg between there teeth that's when he bites into my bone crushing it

I could feel myself weaken as I slip in and out of reality the pain unbearable the pressure what was on my chest lifted and I slipped of into darkness..

Luke's P.O.V

My mate was lying lifeless on the floor, I knew she wasn't dead but if I don't get her to the pack doctor now, it won't be long till she is

After I ripped the throat out of the last rouge I switched back into human form and ran with her to my car, getting in I sped straight for the pack house where the doctor will be waiting as I linked her

As I suspected as soon as I get into the house Ronnie our pack doctor rushed lily away from me as soon as I got there

How could I be so cruel? this is my fault and I know it, if I wasn't such an ass she wouldn't be in this mess, I should of been there for her, protecting her as the alpha and her mate, I've failed once again

I waited about 2 hours when Ronnie finally came out

"How is she?"

"I won't lie to you alpha but she's not good, they tore most of her ligaments on her shoulder and completely crushed her bone on her leg, I'm hopeful she will recover but it's touch an go, she lost a lot of blood"

"But, she can't die she's our luna"

" There is one thing that would make it much easier for her to heal, but it's up to you Alpha"

"Anything"

"Well since she's not officially luna" I growled silencing her disrespectful tone. " Let me finish, she's not marked and when your not marked your a lot weaker, due to her current state, I would advise you mark her within the next half hour or I hate to say it, but there's really no hope"

Mark her? id love nothing more than to mark her, to claim
her mine.. but she hates me, shed never forgive me if I did this

'She wouldn't have the chance to hate you If you let her die' my wolf had a point, I'm going to mark her and hopefully she can see it's for her own good..

I walk into where she is sleeping, attached to wires everything beeping loudly, she looks so peaceful so fragile

I pick my spot on the right side of her neck I bare my teeth and mark what's rightly mine.

I hope this works all I can do is wait...

Sorry again for not updating quick enough but I've had a hectic 'drunken' few days since turning 18! which I did on Wednesday and today is sunday, while I write this I have a glass of wine in my hand haha, soooo cool to be 18!
