Jerome's pov

I held Mitch's hand making it to my parent's village deep in the forest dad is very proud of his village and hopes that one day I'll take over I like teasing him about it but of course, I'd take over this is my home.

We get to the door knocking "swear you were too rough" Mitch whined I smirked "oh that's not what you said earlier" I mumbled Mitch whined punching my shoulder "oh when we're done I need to tell you something" Mitch mumbles I tilt my head "what happened?" I ask curious he looked at me the door opening mom looked at Mitch then looked at me I blush turning red "stop staring" I say "well I can't help it when it's all over his neck" she says Mitch lifting his shirt up whining.

mom laughs hugging us both I whine more as she let us in "your dad wanted you to talk to you when you got here so go up to his office me and Mitch will just catch up" she says Pulling Mitch into the kitchen I look at Mitch who looked at me with pleading eyes I wave and blow him a kiss.

I sigh playfully chuckling as I head to my dad's office "hey" I mumble seeing him do something "Jerome I'm glad you here" he says I tilt my head "why?"I ask he sighed "I need to know the real answer to my question" he says playfully I smile "Dad I'm your only son, of course I'll take over when it's time I just like messing with you" I say he laughs "I was worried" he mumbled I chuckle as he stood "Oh I brought Mitch with me" I say he smiled "Jerome when are you going to - you know- you know that we know, right?" He asked I blush and look away "Dad stop! I don't- he- we" I cover my face "he's already my mate" I quietly say he laughed "that's great! I'm so happy for you two" he says "thank you" I mumble he got up patting my back.

I uncovered my face "let's go say hi" he said I nod "sure thing old man" I say with a smile he gasped "I am NOT old" he says I chuckle "sure thing grandpa" I say he gasped "now that you bring it up will we be getting a grandchild soon?" He asked I whine looking away that's what I get for calling him that.

We get to the kitchen and I see Mitch's flustered face "Mom did you bully Mitch?" I ask she scoffed "Never" she smiled I walk up to Mitch and hugged him tightly "are you two staying overnight" she asked I look at Mitch who nodded "of course" I say Mitch got up to help her I sit by the counter with my father "oh what were you going to tell me?" I ask Mitch "Oh right, Jordan and Seto have been sensing a very strange presence and Rob is worried " he says I frown "dad have you seen anything?" I ask he shook his head "No but I'll let Ross know " he says I nod "how are Jordan and Taylor? Must be a big responsibility to run Spawn City" my mom says I nod.

"It is but I think they're doing a great job plus Jordan's parents live in the City" I say Mitch nodding "Yes! And Taylor just had their baby girl Blaze" Mitch said My mom gasped "really!? I can't wait until you two have a baby" she says Mitch looked away "Mom!" I whined my face red she and my father laughed "still wired that Herobrine actually exists" my father mumbled I chuckle and nod.

"What about Seto ever since I can remember he's been working hard on his potion-making" mom asks "He and Ian are good they went out towards Diamond Town to help out but Seto's potions are stronger than ever" Mitch smiled I nod watching Mitch set the table "do they have children yet?" Mom asked "Mom!" I whine Mitch shakes his head "no Seto says they wanna wait" Mitch mumbled I nod she nods.

"have you heard from your mom?" My mom asked Mitch tensed "No but maybe that's for the best you know- I mean the last time Jerome had to pry her off of me" he said I noticed how he touched his wrists I got up seeing his hands shake he stopped me smiling "I'm fine" he smiled I frown more not sure but not wanting to push him.

"Mitch I'm sorry" my mom say he smiled more "It's her loss right?" He mumbled she nodded "of course it is, your so smart and brave and any sane person would be happy to have you as a son" she says "don't forget you are our family" my dad says I nod agreeing Mitch smiled nodding. Dinner went without a hitch I could tell Mitch was a bit sad I held his hand smiling.
