Brice's pov

I smile "just make sure you take pictures Mitch " I say he pouts he badly wanted to see Preston's twins "I'll be quick" he said I chuckle softly "I promise it's fine take your time" I say he nods and quickly left.

I chuckle and sigh looking at Seto. He should be having his baby soon or maybe sooner I lean over gently moving his hair wishing he would get better. I know this is hard for him but I will do whatever it takes to keep Ian's promise.

Seto's eyes opened "I don't feel so good" he says weakly I frown "well maybe if you ate more " I say he sat up leaned into me I noticed he was gripping Ian's ring "when is Ian coming home?" He weakly asked I frown rubbing his back.

"Seto, Ian isn't coming home, you know that" I say "No he wouldn't leave me, he promised me" he says tearing up "I'm sorry Seto but he's- he got sick " I say softly he shook his head. I felt his forehead and felt he was hot I quickly grabbed my phone texting Tyler letting him know.

I gently rubbed Seto's cheek "Ian?" He whined out his breathing getting fast I frown "relax" I say shakily Seto gripped my hand slipping Ian's ring on my finger "I kept it close Ian" he says shakily I look at the ring and pulled Seto close picking him up.

"Fuck Brice I'm sorry!" I hear seeing Tyler and a few of other people "come on " he pants out I nod following him "woah you guys have a whole ass hospital?" I ask Tyler nods "Me and Seto train nurses and doctors for the surrounding areas" he says I smile and look at Seto "What did Ian do?" I ask he turned around with a weak sigh "you'd have a hard time believing it" he says walking down to a room opening it for me.

I walk in laying Seto on the bed watching Tyler set Seto up "what is it?" I ask he chuckled "he delt with explosions, how to detect them and how to blow them up" he says I chuckle "Ian? Ian who saves baby birds and is a Saint?" I ask Tyler nods smiling "yes sir" he mumbled softly I rolled my eyes smiling.

I sit down "is Seto going to be okay?" I ask he sighed "he's very weak more then likely we have to do surgery " he says pulling his phone out I frown looking at at my hand looking at Ian's ring. I sigh "do what you have to Tyler" I say he nods "uh can you call Jason and Jerome for me I need a favor from them" I say softly he nods and leaves.

I gently hold Seto's hand Jason and Jerome coming in "hey is eveything okay?" Jerome asked I nod "I don't know much about Spawn City but can you two help turn Ian's ring into a necklace?" I asked pulling the ring off my finger Jason taking it.

I pull my wallet handing them my card "thank you so much" I mumbled they nod and left I sighed. After a bit Tyler came and took Seto I got up rubbing my face and walked back and forth.

"Brice?" I looked behind me and saw Mitch, I weakly smile "hey" he says "is Seto okay?" He asked I sigh "yeah he's in surgery Tyler says it's time " I mumble Mitch frowned and walked over "see Preston " he says I weakly smile and nod walking out with him.

-Small time skip-

I chuckle Rob and Preston playfully arguing on names I rolled my eyes watching them "I thought Rob knew all the plants in existence, name them after flowers" I say Mitch looking at me "that's smart" he mumbled softly I chuckled Rob thought for a second picking up one of the twins "What about Clover for her and for him Ceder?" He asked we looked at Preston who smiled "I love it" he mumbled.

I sighed both me and Mitch smiling I hear the door open and I turn around thinking it was Tyler but see Jason and Jerome "sorry we took forever we wanted to make sure it was perfect" Jason says Jerome nodding.

Jerome hands me the box opening the box seeing the nice chain and two tags on them "their nicknames" I mumble softly smiling "it's perfect " I say softly "thank you" I say "Brice" I hear I look over seeing Tyler I sigh shakily getting up "Seto is resting up but I'm not sure when he's waking up, he had a boy" he says with a weak smile I sigh softly "can I see him?" I ask he nods.

I follow him I open the door sighing softly seeing Seto "we just have to give him time he's on all the good medications and he's on fluids so hopfuly he'll wake up soon" he says I nod and sigh walking over sitting down next to Seto.

--Time skip 2 weeks--

Seto's pov

I groan softly my eyes opening seeing darkness I turn my head seeing Brice asleep on a chair I frown- Ian.

I tense hearing whimpering I see a crib i close my eyes trying not to cry. I froze hearing Brice get up "hey its okay" he mumbled softly "I'm not sure what your dad would say but he'd probably say it's going to be okay " I hear him sigh I whined opening my eyes  "Seto!" He said shakily.

I flinch and whined instantly feeling pain I grit my teeth "what time is it?" I weakly asked "5am" he says I groan out "so it's been a few hours?" I ask he frowned sitting down "Seto it's been two weeks" he says my eyes widen breathing shakily.

Brice put the baby in the crib helping me sit up he felt my forehead "your feeling so much better, remember what happened?" He asked I try to think shaking my head "you were really weak" he says I sigh looking away "you should have let me die" I whimper.

I tensed when I felt Brice rub my hand "then you wouldn't met your son" he says I quickly look over seeing him pick him back up letting me see him. I whimper tearing up he looks like Ian "can I?" He nods "of course he's your son" he says gently handing him to me I sniffle looking at him "he looks like Ian" I whimper crying softly.

"He left me, he promised he wouldn't!" I cried Brice held my face "Its not like he wanted to I'm sure if he had the choice then he'd stay" he says I whimper looking down frowning when I didn't see Ian's ring on my other hand "Brice where's the- Ian's ring I lost it! You have to find it! I yelled shakily Brice holding my face again.

"Deep breath" he mumbled pulling out a box "you gave me the ring Remember? You thought I was Ian" he says opening it my eyes widen "I made it into a necklace so you wouldn't lose it" he says taking the baby from me and gave me the box.

I take it out of the box seeing tags I whimper "My prince" I whisper gently touching it I look at Brice "you didn't have to do this " I say he sighed playfully and smiled "I know but I know how much Ian means to you" he says sitting next to me.

"You know the cutie needs a name, I can't keep calling him baby" he says I weakly smile putting the necklace on me "Ian liked Jake I want Jake " I mumble Brice chuckling "I think Jake is perfect " he adds I smiled and sighed "I'm sorry for the way I treated you" I say Brice sighed "Seto you and Ian have been together for a decade- I understand " he says handing me Jake.

I look at Jake I rubbed his cheek. Jake looks like Ian so much I whimper and held him close.
