Chapter 5

*Dean*

It was Thursday morning and Dean was waiting in the Impala for Sam. He honked.

"Sammy, really?"

"I'm coming. I'm coming. "

He opened the door and sat down. Dean pulled up to the school and parked.

"Bye, Sammy. "

Sam waved not looking back.

Dean walked to their spot and Cas was already there. He pulled him into a bear hug and kissed his forehead.

"Hello, my Angel."

Cas looked up at him and pecked his cheek. Dean reached down and intertwined their fingers.

"Hey, Dean ? " Cas asked

"Yea." 

"Are we,um a couple?"

Dean looked down at him and used his free hand to curl a piece of Cas' dark hair.

"I hope so, do you want to be a couple? "

"Yes, very much. " He said with a smile.

"Good."

He walked Cas to his 1st period.

"Goodbye, my Cherry."

He kissed him softly.

"I miss you already."

"I'll see you soon." Cas replied smiling at him.

*Cas*

Castiel sat in calculus, working on his sketch. This week he was trying to finish the buildings in the background. He wanted to frame it to give to Dean when the went to the parade next week. Every since Dean got here Cas had started zoning out of most his classes. The only thing he really cared about was seeing Dean. He felt a vibration in his pocket.

' Biology is boring. How's that special math class. '

'It's calculus and it's the same as always. Easy'

'You nerd.'

'You love it'

*Dean*

He read Cas' text and then went back to taking notes on genes. Then picked up his phone.

' ;)Ughh taking notes rn.'

"Ok, I expect this to be done at the end of the class. Um, new boy, what's your name?" The teacher asked pointing at Dean.

"Uh, Dean Winchester."

"Well, Dean you can work with someone"

Lisa's hand shot up.

"Yea, Lisa go ahead."

Lisa picked up her notebook and sat next to Dean. She winked at him.

' Sounds fun. I'm sketching.'

' of course you are. :) What you working on? '

"Who are you texting, Winchester?" Lisa asked leaning closer to him.

"Uh, my boyfriend. But what are we supposed to be doing?" He replied trying to change the subject.

"Wait, what? Boyfriend? Your gay? But you were totally flirting with me! "
"Umm, Lisa we haven't talked since my first day, which was the day I met Cas. And I'm bi, not gay. " He answered.

Lisa rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, Dean."

It was awkward after that and Dean was thankful when the bell rang.  He saw Cas and rushed towards him.

"Cas, thank God! I just had the most awkward class. I had to work with Lisa and I told her I had a boyfriend and she was so weird about it."

"Aww, I'm sorry baby. " Cas said touching his cheek.

"Yea. But anyway, what are you drawing come on, show me." He said pecking him on the lips.

"No it's a surprise and I hope you like it. " He said reaching for his boyfriend's hand.

"You're so stubborn, Angel. " He said walking towards the auditorium. Mr.Bryce had told them to meet there.

"Hello boys. How's my Romeo and Juliet?" He said as they walked in.

They smiled in response.

" Okay, everyone sit down. I have a couple of announcements. So first all you will all be excused from you're third period today to work on a dress rehearsal. Also our playwrights have decided to take a new look at the play. Because of our male leads the play will be called Romeo and Julian and it will be based in a modern time period. Oh, one more thing, I ordered pizza for lunch. Let's get to work. "

It was so fun acting with Cas. Dean's favorite scene was when Romeo and 'Julian' meet at a party. They're both supposed to be pretty drunk. But Romeo lifts Julian's mask and kisses him passionately. Cas was never the the direct one so it was different for Dean to see him play the dominant role.

"Romeo, where is my Romeo? "

"I'm here, my love." Cas/ Romeo responded, climbing into the cardboard window.
He was wearing blue jeans and a jersey that said Montague on the back.

"Let's take a break y'all!" Mr. Bryce called to the group of students.

Dean leaned in and kissed Cas anyway.

"You look really hot in a jersey." He whispered in Cas' ear.

This made Cas cheek turn hot pink.
