as stated throughout the show, fox river penitentiary is an all male facility, and under regular circumstances, female inmates are not allowed to be held there under the law. as this is fiction, it allows for maylyn jones to be held in this prison due to the severity of her crimes.
'snitches' will be following closely to the plot of prison break, beginning close to the start of season one.
