I didn't get any sleep at all the night before. I stayed up all night thinking and wishing and imagining and fantasizing. I've kinda lost hope that we're ever gonna get back together, but I'm still trying. She decided to sell the apartment which is only giving my limited time for her and I to get back together. She opened the door to a guy and girl that, I guess, are looking at the apartment. "Hey," "Hey, I'm Lank and this is my girlfriend, Tina." I heard them talking as the couple walked in.

"Ya, come in." They all walked by me, all of them looking at me while they stepped over me. "This is my ex, don't mind him." She said making me look down, not looking anyone in the face. "Does he come with the place?" Lank joked getting a small laugh from the two girls. "So, this is the bedroom." She started out the tour of the apartment while I sat there. I didn't move from my spot, they all just walked around me, trying their best to ignore me which wasn't very hard since I didn't try to say anything.

Once she was done giving them the tour they said that they would take it and they would move in as soon as they could. As soon as they left she started packing all of her belongings in suitcases. I still didn't move, I didn't need anything. She started getting ready for work after a bit, putting on a pink flannel top with a skirt down to her knees. She put on black flats as she brushed her teeth. She went in the bathroom and spit out the toothpaste and put the toothbrush away. She washed the bowl she ate her cereal in earlier looking over at me for a second as she did.

She grabbed her bag and finished straightening out her hair before walking out. She left the front door unlocked because the couple was going to start moving all of their stuff in. I laid against the wall, pretty much out of their way. I saw their legs as they walked by me, slowly squeezing their own mattress into the bedroom. "Careful, careful." Lank said as they finally got it in. I looked in the room I front of me which was just a small closet type area that had a rack in it. I imagined when we moved in.

I was wearing a light blue flannel shirt with jeans and she was wearing a plaid, flowy, pink dress down to her ankles. "What the fuck is this." I saw myself laugh, talking about the rack. "What good does it do?" She laughed along with me. "You know what, just come here, come here." I spun her around and kissed her, her arms around my neck while mine her around her waist. I saw us fade out as I notice I was imagining it again, but I remember that day like it was yesterday.

Really days have passed by, I haven't had any sleep. It's been 1 1/2 weeks of me spending my days on the floor of the hallway in our.. her apartment. The last few days they've been emptying it out and moving their new stuff in. For the first time in a while it was calm, they were going to move in tomorrow and the apartment was all ready for them to do so. I just stared into nothing, I didn't know what to think or do. I didn't at all.

I sighed as the front door slowly opened, the real her walking in, not me imagining it. She walked a couple steps up, standing equally between me and the door. "It's time." She said, and I knew what she meant. It was time for us to leave her apartment. I nodded and got up, "Okay."
