Chapter 1:Introduction
"Darling girl when all else fails join the circus."

Cecilia's POV
I watched from behind the curtain as the crowd filed in. People from the smallest of children to the oldest of people have come to see my circus."Come to mama." I smiled like the cheshire as I noticed my ticket booth man Jasper carry in the bags of money from the crowd."Looks like we'll be dinning like kings tonight guys." I raised the bags of money in the air and smiled at my performers as they all cheered.
"Couple thousand more and I can replace this old circus tent."

"Don't forget to pay the performers Miss La Mona."

I smile at my special act. Wait let me rephrase that. The best paying act I have at the moment , the conjoined twins. Gretchen and Mabel the jugglers , I know what your thinking. 'Jugglers? That's your best paying act?'
Yes their the best, they can juggle anything even me. They did actually to prove their worth. Ah yes did I forget to mention they can't talk? The person who was talking to me was Jasper. I just like the twins better.They can't talk back."Jasper sweetie could you be a doll and go get Bubbles?" I smile evilly as I watch Jaspers face stiffens."B-but uh Miss she hates me..you know this."

"I know sweetie its just entertaining to me."

He glares at me before heading off to get Bubbles, She's my second best paying act. She's my crazy clown, she's also the youngest of my performers. There's a crash and a bang coming from Bubbles dressing room."I believe Bubbles nap got interrupted." I examine my whip as the crashing continues. I look up to see Jasper approaching."Did you get Bubbles?" He noddes his head as he walks back to the ticket booth.

"Listen up everyone!"

I clap my hands to get everyone's attention."We have a huge crowd tonight bigger than ever before! Now before you go out there I want you all to do your damn greatest!" Its obvious I'm not good at speeches I mean if I had to write a speech to save my life I would be dead...again. I hear the cheers from my performers as I smile as I start walking to the arena."Show time." I rub my hands together and walk up to my pedestal in the middle of the ring. I crack my whip to get the audiences attention.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to Cecilia's Circus!"

The crowd cheers as I stand on my pedestal , arms stretched out."Now to get things started I will have my oldest act perform first!"
