Chapter 3:Human? Sighting
"If you can't wake up from a nightmare...maybe your not asleep."

Cecilia's POV

I sit at the small table in my wagon as Sabriel yells at me about how irresponsible I was."You could have gotten your circus shut down Cecilia! Honestly how did a human even get in this crazy place." Wait. Human? In my circus? She must be high or something."Sabriel did you get in your fathers stash again?" I question her as I get up to pour me a glass of wine."What? No! I'm responsible now." I raise an eyebrow at her as she awkwardly shifts on the spot."Really? Interesting." I turn around and sip my wine."Anyways why on earth was a human in the stands tonight?"

"Human? Sabriel sweetie I had Jasper check all those people there's no way a human could just walts right in here undetected." I walk over to the window and see the others pinned against the door of the wagon trying to hear us. Idiots."Well Cecilia it seems you need more security because this slip up will cost you."

"Help yourself then" I point to the safe with all the money in it as Sabriel rolls her eyes."Cecilia its a figure of speech." I smile at her as I walk to the door."I know I just need my entertainment the circus isn't cutting it for that." I open the door and Bubbles and Jasper fall face first on the ground.

"I see you two are eavesdropping again."

"No mam just testing the stability of the door..."

"Sure you were now run along to your wagons." I lazily wave my hand at them as I close the door and turn towards Sabriel."Now Sabriel the human problem?" She noddes her head as she explains the 'issue'.

I storm out of my wagon fire practically coming out of my ears as I march over to security."Cecilia! Calm down everything isn't solved with violence!" Sabriel runs after me trying to stop me from murdering my security, I can't really kill them they are dead after all." I solve everything with violence!" I turn towards Sabriel in a huff as she stops before running into me.

"Remember Marcus?"

"Who?"

"Exactly!"

I turn back around straight to security as they play cards by their wagon. They all freeze once they spot me coming and they immediately jump up to their feet."Gentleman I heard from a source one of you let in a human." Their faces pale as the last word escapes my lips."N-no mam we would never we know what will happen if we do.." I walk slowly around them as they stand perfectly still as if waiting for me to pounce."You see gentlemen." I grab my whip from my belt where I keep it at all times."I don't tolerate liars and if you wish to keep your jobs to provide for your families I suggest one of you confess before things get out of hand."

"Cecilia they obviously didn't-"

"Quiet Sabriel these aren't your security guards."

I grab one of the guards by the shoulder."Your first." I smile at the young guard as fear fills his dull eyes."Come along now we don't have all night." I lead the guard into a secluded area away from the others."So you can either confess or rat someone out" I scrape my hook on the wall circling the guard."So...which is it?" He looks me dead in the eye and he speaks.

"I let the human in..."

"Really now?'

"Yes mam."

"Well then...goodbye."

I walk back to where Sabriel is waiting with the other guards. I casually walk past them wiping off my hook."I solved the problem, hand out help wanted flyers too." Sabriel stares at me for awhile before scurrying off to pass out flyers."Oh and gentlemen." I turn around and face the guards."If you cross me again I'll have your heads." I turn around from the guards fear struck faces and walk to the circus stables.

"Margot! Where the hell are you!"

"Shut up Cecilia! I'm trying to get the freaking lions to move for once."

"Like I give a damn about that,now where's Black Rose?" I look around at the stalls were we keep the horses."She's sleeping like all the other animals...idiot." I roll my eyes as I walk over to Black Rose's stall. Black Rose the best undead circus horse ever, you would think a horse that's just a skeleton would do poorly as a circus horse but no all her bones are spelled together, courtesy of Hilda. Works every time. "Well dammit I had a snack for her." Did I mention she eats undead flesh? Gross I know. "Did you kill another security guard?"

"Of course not I just cut off something he may still need."

"Your horrible to those poor men."

"What's the point in even coming here if all the animals are asleep."

"I was gonna say something but I kinda need this job.."

"Wise choice...I'll be leaving."

As I walk out of the stables with a mumbling Margot trying to get the lions to move I walk back to my wagon to figure out a solution to my human problem. "Cecilia! What's this gossip about a human!" I turn my attention to Hilda who's right behind me."Hilda! Be quiet the others might hear." She rolls her eyes at me as Bubble's and Jasper walk up to us."Cecilia we got a giant problem." I look around and see my wagon surrounded.

"They heard about the problem?"

"Yep."

"Who blabbed!" I glare at the others as they slowly realize my gaze upon them."Cecilia your moneys gone." I turn towards Sabriel who has joined in on our conversation."My what!" I storm to where the main source of the crowd is."You damned idiots! I'll have your heads!" I grab my gun from my inside jacket pocket and fire it into the air, the performer's shut up instantly and face me.

"Now listen here dumb asses I'll fix this problem as long as you put back my money!"

"You greedy bitch."

"Jasper I know that was you."

"I'll be in the restroom..."

"Anyways...all of you back to your wagons.Sabriel,Bubbles to the stables we have a plan to make, Hilda go fetch Jasper. We have a human to catch."
