*BEEP BEEP* the 'beautiful' noise of my alarm clock awoke me. I looked at the time, 6:00 am it read. Ugh, why do I have to get up this early? I put it on snooze and went back to sleep.
"ABBY!" I woke up again to see my mother hovering over my bed. I yawned,
"What is it, mom?" I asked
"Why are you still asleep? Your going to be late for your first day as a junior!" She said loudly.
"First day?" It took me a minute to process whats going on, "Oh my god! I'm gonna miss the first day of school!" I said in realization. I hopped out of my bed and rushed into my closet. How could I have forgotten about the first day of school? I rushed into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, my hair, and applied my makeup. I ran downstairs, grabbed my backpack and put on my Keds and rushed into my car. I drove as fast as I can to get to my school, Virginia High.
As I walked in to the classroom, I could feel a thousand eyes staring at me. "You're late!" The teacher pointed out as if I didn't even notice.
"I'm so sorry Mr-"
"Harrison," he interrupted, "Abby? Right? Go sit next to Harry." he pointed to an empty seat next to a boy I have never seen before. I walked over to the desk and sat down. The boy looked at me and I tried not to look back but I could not help it, he's just so hot. His hair curls perfectly against his neck, his eyes are the most beautiful green, and his smile is so gorgeous.
Mr. Harrison started his lecture, "History is important because I said so, blah blah blah blah, but blah blah blah, blah blah..." I started to drift off.
~After school~
The last bell of the day rang and I was super happy because I finally got to see my best friend; Beth, after what seemed like the longest summer vacation ever.
"Hey!" She exclaimed, coming up to hug me.
I hugged her back, "I missed you so much!" I told her smiling.
"I missed you too, Ab," She replied.
I then decided to tell her of the new, hot boy. I told her how his hair curls right against his neck, how his eyes are a beautiful green, and how his smile is so gorgeous it could even make world peace.
