The bell rang for the end of the day. I exited Mr. Hooden's classroom, and walked to my locker in the main hallway. I put up my science books, and grabbed my denium backpack. I then headed out to the front of the school where I'm meeting Harry.
It didn't take Harry very long to come to the front.
"Ready?" He asked me.
"Yea, is it far?" I asked.
"Eh," He replied, "C'mon,"
I followed Harry to his house. It was farther than I thought it was. We then stopped by a stream.
"Why did we stop?" I asked him.
"This is the way to get to my house, unless you want to go the long way?" He replied.
"I am not crossing this stream!" I exclaimed.
"You wanna go the long way?" He asked, confusingly.
"How long does it take?" I asked.
"About an hour," He replied.
"Ugh, I guess we'll go this way," I complained.
"Want me to give you a piggy-back ride so you don't get wet?" He asked.
"No, it's fine," I replied, taking off my keds.
While I wasn't paying any attention, Harry picked me up and carried me across the stream.
"Harry!" I exclaimed.
He placed me down, and I put my keds back on. I looked at his shoes and they were ruined because of the water.
"C'mon, Ab."
