I love the sounds of madness
Of piano keys thumping along to a song who's notes I can never remember
Of brief interludes of rain in the silence
Of the pen scratching along the paper
Of desk chair wheels spinning roughly on carpet
Of the laptop shutting and opening with a satisfying click
Of newly bought earbuds giving it their all
And of the TV's comforting words
