It is the wee hour of the morning. And Jessalyn is in her dorm, sitting and thinking of what tomorrow will be.
She ponders silently. And looks at her desk, the papers that are piled, the pens and pencils beside them.
Jess lays down on her bed, staring at the bland ceiling. She thinks of something, farther than tomorrow...Jess closes her eyes and suddenly in a split second, she doesnt blink or open her eyes, and sees a totally different vision of something.
Jessalyn gasps and pants very quickly, she is lost in a void...she looks around aimlessly...
"Where am I!?"
Jessalyn feels lonely and scared, but somewhat driven...
She hears a faded noise of what seems to be footsteps.
It comes closer.
And sounds clearer...
She sees a figure out in the distance..with silver hair, and a hue of lavender...its eyes with the color of the most beautiful violets.
"Hey there. .gorgeous....I may have an answer soon"
Jessalyn flinches..and falls down...she squirms backward...as the shady figure barely moves...and stares at her with a menacing glare.
"What do you want with me!?"
Jessalyn stares back..hoping to know this is only a bad dream.
The figure flips its hair.
"How cute of you to be scared.hehe..but I mean no harm. I want to deliver a message.."
Jessalyn gulps. And her heart beats faster...the void sinks...and she feels hollow...her fear making her surroundings feel vacant than the blackest shadow.
"A-A Message?"
Jessalyn looks at the figure.
"Yes m.....ther...heh.....but now is not the time....for there is one man you..mmm"
Jessalyn grows a tad annoyed and could not hear the gibberish...but her blinding fear grows over her...not allowing her to even shriek.
"D-don't call me that...."
The figure squints, and a curve below its eyes grows into a smirk.
It floats backward, fading into the darkness...
"Till next time..."
Jessalyn wakes up and gasps.
Her heart slowly returning to normal beating.."What...was that?"
Jessalyn heads and plops on her bed. She texts Michael, who has yet to reply.
-Later in the Food Market-
Michael is sitting casually on a stool, eating in a ramen stand. He orders a bad of dumplings for Jessalyn.
"I'll take a bag of eight ma'am. To go."
Michael reaches into his pocket, pulling out coins, and begins to hand the merchant Ten gold pieces. The lady starts to pull out change as she hands him the bag. Michael interrupts.
"Keep the change."
The lady gives him a wrinkly smile. And puts the golds in an old rusty bucket beside her products.
"Thank you, young man"
Michael heads out and sees Jessalyn's text and scoffs at it. He walks in the middle of the ranch food market, glowing lanterns and children running with hand made kites and toys. He walks and he is stopped by the same blonde man he rescued in the slums.
