"You go first." She suggested, but as usual, I'm trying to be a gentleman, so I say "No, ladies first you go ahead. "Nuh-uh. Don't use the lady-card on me, I'm only 17. You go first sir." She remarked sassily while shoving a handful of popcorn into her mouth, how come she still looks cute? "Ok, Ok let's start off easy. Favorite color?" What? That's what first came into mind. "I can't really choose, but, I'll go with all the shades of blue and green. You?" she answered while looking at me quizzically. "What a coincidence, my favorite color, is blue green, or sea green, whatever you call it." I'm not saying this to impress her, this is really my favorite color. "Your turn Missy." I said, after answering her. "What was your first impression to me?" She smirked and wiggled her eyebrows. Woah, she got me there. To be perfectly honest, my first impression to her was, she was Beautiful, she has nice eyes, I mean, she has one of the most common eye color which is brown, but I still looks unique. And she looks smart and sassy, but not to girly. She also has nice curves and nice bo- MY GOD ALEXIS SHE'S RIGHT THERE SHUT THE FREAK UP! So instead of actually saying what I thought I ended up saying "To be honest, you look smart and sassy, and cute, but not too girly." Which wasn't exactly a lie. "Thank you, I guess." She says. Oh my god, she's blushing. At least that's what I think, "How about me? What was your first impression to me?" I asked, and putting on a playful smirk. She looks like she's in deep thought. "Um. I really thought you were a good boy who's secretly a bad boy type of guy, you know what I mean?" She says, To be honest, I guess that's exactly what I am. "Now, Uh—When did you have your first kiss? And who?" Damn, I wish that wasn't too intense. "Hmm. It would have to be at 9th grade, with my first boyfriend, Sebastian Gabriel. I sort of grew up with him. He was the son of my Mom's Best friend Aunt Tessie." She says looking down at her lap. "Hey, Im sorry didn't mean to upset you or anyt-" I was saying before she cut me off saying "Don't sweat it. How about you?" she asks and shrugs. "That would be, Alaini Fabia. 8th grade." I answered truthfully. "Oh." I heard from her, but I think I wasn't supposed to but, whatever. Suddenly, the silence became an awkward one, and trust me when I say awkward, cause it really is. But, no one wants that, so I decided to talk saying "Missy? It's your turn love." He quickly gathered her thoughts and thought of a question, a few seconds later she spoke "Favorite subject?" She sounded so unsure, but still, I answered. "That, hands down will have to be Math, obviously. 'Bout you?" I laughed a little, waiting for her response. "Can't really choose to be honest, Social Studies is interesting. But then there's Science, in general. Math is my weak spot to be honest, not really that good at it. But History though!" She started rambling, and she looks so cute doing so. "Ok, I get it, you can't choose. Now, my turn. Any Celebrity Crushes?" Ok, now that is interesting. "Oh, nice one actually. Hands down to the one an- wait, can it be bands?" Damn why does she have to look cute when she pouts? "Yeah I guess. And to me it's Emma Watson just so you know. And don't forget, Lily Collins." I informed her. "Yeah, I know. Even I want to sleep with them." And again the pout! "Anyways, it would have to be One direction and 5 seconds of summer. And as for actors, Danielle Radcliffe." Ok, now. How do I compete with all those guys she mentioned, I only know Danielle Radcliffe, because I'm a potterhead. "Ok, ok. I'll pretend I know this One Direction and this 5 seconds of summer. Your turn" She glared at me, but then continues to ask her next question. "Oh! I got one, get ready this is a good one." I just hummed in response. "What is your favorite thing about me?" Oh dang, she caught me off guard. I can't really choose, maybe your eyes? Possibly your attitude. Taste in music maybe, or how different you are to thither girls. Or maybe your boo- OK ALEXIS SHUT UP. "That would have to be your sassiness and your smart-ass remarks." Which wasn't a complete lie. "Awe. Cute." That would be one of my favorite remarks by her. " How about you?" And that's when she blushed. "Uhm. I guess, how your all tough around others, but soft and cheeky when your with your friends.." Awe. I'm pretty sure my face resembles the heart-eyed emoji. "Hey, now don't get too cocky." She giggles, eating more popcorn. "Okay, me again.. How many past relationships have you had?" I asked curiously, and grabbing more popcorn and shove it in my mouth. "Uhh. Just one actually." She said in a matter-of-fact way. "Hey don't be ashamed Baby Girl." Oh how much I love calling her that, no green—minded people please? Thank you. "I only had three, well two actually, since my recent one doesn't count at all." Now, I was ashamed.
I quickly covered up, by eating more popcorn. "Ok, me again.. now, what interesting questions can I ask you.. Hmm." She seemed to be in deep thought. "Any phobias?" Oooh, this one is interesting. "Um, Trypanophobia. How about you?" "Is that fear of needles? Oh well, mine would be, Coulrophobia..Fear of clowns." My cousin Lillian has that, and I think she suffered her entire childhood because of that phobia. "Okay moving on..How did you meet the lads?" Okay this will be a long story, I can tell. Just by the way she smiled as the memories come flooding into her mind. I know she loved the lads, more than her best friend. She loves them like they're her brothers. "Okay. It all started on the summer of 6th grade. I was sitting alone in the playground of the school, that was during lunch break. I was often bullied back then, until they came into my life. They were storming out of the back door of the school, laughing their asses off. But then, Marc saw me, we awkwardly stared at each other, but of course I broke it. I remember it vividly in my mind like it was yesterday. They were famous in our school, they were pranksters. They were famous because of it. Suddenly, they went closer to me. I was at a swing by the way, munching on some homemade fruit salad. Suddenly Joshua, the eldest amongst us, who was a year older than the rest of the boys and two years older to me and Marc, sat to the swing next to me.. Hey! Why are you out here alone?" She paused for a few moments and closed her eyes still smiling. " I simply shrugged, not trusting my voice. I knew at that moment that those buttfaces wouldn't stop talking to me if I don't talk back to then. After a few more times they asked me, I finally talked. Then that's where it all began. I became their friend, and as time passes by, our friendship grew stronger. I was never bullied again, because of them, that's why I thank them dearly. 'Till this day, we would go back to that playground on the date of December 7. Because its our special day." She finished smiling widely, ear to ear. Wow. She really does love them like they're her brothers. "Okay! How about you? How'd you meet them?" She tilted you head curiously. "Oooh, someones curious." I teased. 'Oh shut it, just tell me how." She said whilst grabbing her water from her bedside table that was behind her. She turned her petite frame to grab the bottles of water, causing her bum to be in my complete sight. Okay, Alexi, breath. Perverted thoughts aren't allowed. Control your mind. I swallowed, hard. She then gave me my bottle of water as well. I quickly and quietly drank. "Okay, so. Remember Maxine?" She nodded in reply, urging me to continue "Well, she's basically the reason we met, and sometimes I thank her for breaking my heart, because I met the buttfaces because of her." She cut me off saying "But that's my nickname for them! Think of your own nickname for them." She claimed childishly, making me shake my head disapprovingly and laugh. "Fine then, Uhh- how about nitwits? Yeah that would do. So, I was a party, it was around 9 or so, I was throwing up really badly, because I was wasted as hell. But they were just arriving at that time. I don't you were with them that time. But they kind of helped me sober up to be able to get home. Hell they even bought me dinner!" I laughed as the events of that night replays in my mind.
We continued talking about the lads when a question came into my mind. "Hey, who's your favorite member of the gang?" I said grabbing her attention, that was currently on her currently on her laptop, searching for new series to watch on Netflix. "Huh? Do I really have to choose?" She muttered childishly, "Yes." But I really want to know. "Okay. I'm not really sure, but to be honest. It would be, Marc. He's my closest member of the gang. He would be my favorite." Okay, not that I'm mad or anything, I'm just curious. "How about you?" She said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Hmm. They're all pretty cool, but it would be Joshua. Because he can be the brother I don't have, not that they all can't but he's the closest to me."
After a few moments, she finally settled with stranger things. But then I wondered, what was her favorite T.V. show, so I decided to ask her. "What's your favorite T.V. show by the way?" She shrugged but still answered saying "Probably Pretty Little Liars and How I Met Your Mother." She smiled to me, and I swear I just melted. "My my. I love How I Met Your Mother as well. Specially Barney and Robin."
I don't know how long we've been watching or how many episodes we've been watching, but suddenly, my mouth had its own mind. "Are you still innocent?" As the words escaped my mouth unwillingly, my eyes went wide. But she didn't reply, nor did she react. I looked at her carefully, because her head was leaning on my right shoulder. She was asleep, I released a breath I didn't even realize I was holding. I grabbed the laptop that was on the pillow in between us, shutting it and placing it on her bedside table carefully.
I was slowly dozing off, when I heard her say, "Yes, I still have my innocence. Although I don't seem like it." I just smiled, and told her good night.
